Why did I order “Korean Tacos” at a Mexican bar? More importantly, I hope it is off the menu. The meat was cooked to the point I’d consider it dog food. Flavor was sickly sweet with sesame seeds. Cabbage was best thing on the plate. I also really enjoyed the screaming match between front staff and kitchen staff. This was a few months ago and couldn’t write this review until now, as I just recovered from my 30 dollar experience for 3 dog food tacos and a beer.

Did the first time in over a year celebrating with the public, we opted to spend our Cinco De Mayo at local Torrance spot Tortilla Cantina. The staff and owner were very personable and made sure or first time was a memorable one. The food and craft beers were on point. Definitely became a fan of Artifex after trying their Bog Trotter Irish Red. Definitely a spot with revisiting in the future.

Great casual bar to grab a cocktail, beer [tons on tap], or wine to go along with bar food. Yes, it’s bar food. The prices aren’t bad but if you’re in mood for tacos with more authenticity, visit a local Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood. Along with a mature, local crowd, live music on Friday night. TV’s playing sports throughout but The nice thing is having a view of downtown Torrance even if you sit inside. You might need to troll for parking on the weekends but the structure and adjacent streets are free. Best thing here is the service.

WoW! Their main customer flow is beer drinking humans. Well I’m not into beer, I’m into tacos and I am not impressed at all. I ordered the chicken Korean tacos and they are so tiny! Plus they were cold! And they had 3 to four small pieces of chicken. For $10.36 I’m telling you, if you are going there for the food… don’t. If you are going there for the beer, by all means stuff yourself.
