When we started The Social Vegan, we did it with one mission in mind: become the Best Vegan Restaurant in Lexington, KY. From the very beginning, we’ve carefully sourced our ingredients from farmers and vendors we trust. We take pride in clean sourcing and serving nutrient-rich food for every appetite. We believe ingredients should be high quality and your time spent with us should be memorable. My husband and I decided to try this place out, kind you, neither of us are vegan. However, after eating it, we’ve visited several more times. The food is amazing, the customer service is top notch and the atmosphere has great potential. They have a really large indoor seating area and space that looks like they may use it for live music/dancing. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area. I didn’t really care for any of the frozen drinks, but the burgers and the loaded nacho fries are spectacular.

We went there today for the first time. Delicious food. A local family Black Owned Business. A little high price wise. You walk in order the food and pay then. Then you have to go back to the counter when your food is ready and get your food. They do not bring the food to your table. But the food was great

I love patronizing local eatery’s and found this little gem. I had the humus veggie wrap (small portion) and my friend had the black bean burger. Both of us agreed the food and service was worth paying a little more for. And it’s good to support our community instead of corporate dining!!

Came here with my husband while visiting Tallahassee from Atlanta. The oyster mushrooms are the best ones I have EVER had. The batter is amazing – a little spicy/peppery and perfectly crispy, while not being too heavy. Tasted so much like fried chicken. I wish I could pick this place up and take it home to Atlanta! We will definitely be back.

I had the virgin pina colada icee and the vegan tacos. The icee was refreshing, very pineapple forward. I didn’t realize the tacos would have a crunchy shell, which isn’t my preference. I would try another item on my next visit.

I was driving down Georgia st and I had to take a double look when I saw this restaurant as I had never seen it before and I’ve been living in Tallahassee for 4 years now. As a vegan myself I had to try it out and this restaurant did NOT disappoint! I got the Philly chick’n sub and it was absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to come back here again and try out different items from the menu! Every Friday they have a happy hour from 5-7pm with $5 drinks and $7.99 food specials which I also am excited to check out! Thanks so much for the great food!

This was my first time coming into this establishment. It was extremely clean and there was plenty of seating areas around the restaurant. I always heard good things about how good the food was and knew I had to try it out. On my first visit I had the social nachos, buffalo cauliflower and fried oyster mushrooms. The food was HOT and FRESH! Simply finger licking good! No exaggeration. Their Customer Service was A+.

I just started a new journey into vegan food due to some unexpected health issues and I really enjoyed the dishes that I ordered. I ordered a half order of vegan nachos and vegan buffalo wings which are made out of cauliflower. The flavors were amazing and everything was good and fresh. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks.

Disclaimer: I am not vegan and have almost no experience with this type of food. But if I was given this food outside of this establishment, I would have a hard time believing that it was. To be honest I’m still skeptical about the “burger” lol. The food was prepared immaculately and everything was delicious. Even the sauces (I had buffalo, ranch, and maybe a remoulade?) we’re just as amazing. Will definitely go back soon.
