Man it was so yummy!! They were out of ribs which I was bummed about cuz as good as the brisket and pulled pork sandwich was I’m sure the ribs are amazing!! But yeah I loved it!

The brisket was cold (and only two and a quarter thin pieces of meat), the bbq sauce bland, the beans were at least warmish, and the picture shows the piece of pecan pie I ordered that was $5 dollars and was a small piece of crust with Very little filling and pecans on top. When I asked the person working there what the heap of pecans were supposed to be he replied “I just can’t cut the pecan pie”. My horrible meal came to a whopping $15. Needless to say, I will never go back!

The home made buns on our sandwiches were excellent. Sad that the pulled pork Mac and cheese was listed on the menu but no longer being served, but the burnt ends were good too.

Visited 08/05/19. Our service was the best and so friendly! Our brisket was right out of the smoker (timing is everything). A great selection of sides but really loved the sweet potato as an option. Key lime pie was awesome!

Fabulous food! We are talking about delicious BBQ, crazy good Cole slaw, homemade key lime and buttermilk pies to die for! I can’t rave about the burnt ends enough, don’t miss them! Courtney was super awesome and helpful with lots of recommendations for thinks to do and places to eat etc.

We had heard a lot about how good the food here was and when traveling through Dillon stopped in. It was Tuesday, the day after Labor Day. They had a sign on the door, “Closed for the holiday.” On our way through town again a few days later we stopped by. This time the sign said they were closed until March 2020. Bummer. Would love to have tried their food.

It’s the best BBQ in the state in my most humble opinion. There’s nothing like that beautiful smoke ring on a piece of meat that’s spent so many hours in The Beast (the smoker) cooking and dripping on the coals. And you can’t beat Courtney’s Key Lime Pie for dessert on a hot day.

A wonderful place to eat. BBQ is fantastic and the serving size is generous. We loved every bite. The owners really put much love and thoughtfulness in their restaurant. It’s a must while in Dillon.

Stopped in Dillon on the way home, thankfully saw Branding Iron BBQ on google. Amazing food, fast service, I bought a couple pints of sauce for home. Reminded me of Texas, hard to find BBQ this good so far north. A future road trip lunch spot for sure!

Here is how the Branding Iron has exceeded my expectations. I have used them for hunting camp dinners, local lunch, remote site event breakfast, house parties and ultimately complex catering events which took months of planning and logistics. The owners take great pride in getting what you want, how you want it and when you want it. They are proffessionally flexible to last minute changes and during events they deliver a top shelf product with high end style. I have the utmost confidence if you decide to use their catering services you will find a way to use them again and again.
