Friendly staff and creative rolls. Stopped in on vacation in Coeur d’Alene for a tasty bite and was not disappointed. Some of the rolls could have been a little “tighter” but it’s a small grievance considering their more than ample size. Best food truck sushi I’ve had.

Descent sushi for a descent price. The Godzilla was my favorite. You can order online and then pick it up at the food truck, which is nice. I like their botanical theme in front of their food truck.

Tasty food, good presentation, friendly. Came by around dinner time so waited a bit for the food to come out, looks like they get a lot of online orders as I see many people walk up to pick up their orders. But it was worth the wait. We ate at the nearby seating area. Only short comings of this place is restroom. Far walk and shady looking building, lol. I guess I’m grateful that there is a restroom.

The only truck I have ever seen in the area with a cute sitting area out front. The food was wonderful and fresh. The cucumber salad is a different take. If you are a pickle fan I would for sure order it. The cooked rolls were pretty fantastic as well. Make sure you order ahead. Call Friday when they open. Larger orders need week advance most likely. Friendly staff. And packed plenty of soy sauce!!

Love love love Raw Dead Fish! We have been coming to them for years. I am gluten intolerant and get really sick if I eat just a spec. Raw Dead Fish does a great job of providing sushi that hasn’t been cross contaminated and even their soy sauce is g/f. The best deal is one of their family assortment boxes. They know their stuff and it’s always fresh and delicious!! And I love their truck.

Go here for nigiri! This is the only place in town that gives you what you pay for. The rolls are HUGE and the quality is worth the price. I hate paying $6 for nigiri that’s tiny and hardly worth the money – these guys give you what you pay for and make it worth it! I have never had a bad experience here. Friendly service, amazing food, and great quality for the price. Definitely check this place out. The rolls here are : salmon nigiri, California roll, and the snack roll.

Any potential customers should definitely choose this location for sushi over other locations in Coeur d’alene! My family and I really enjoyed our experience at Raw Dead fish. It was our first time trying their food truck because the other place we were thinking of eating didn’t open until a little later, and we are so glad that it worked out that way. I wholeheartedly think that no potential customer should be deterred by the food truck atmosphere or quality. This food truck was not only stylish and had cool ambiance with the plants and colors, it also had friendly service and just made the overall experience very pleasant. As for the quality of their food, I am very pleased to say that the sushi tasted very delicious, fresh, and the portions were exactly what we were looking for, much more than what we usually get from other locations. It is important to mention that my family and I have eaten Seafood all over the United States including hawaii, but also internationally and we can provide a realistic Testament that this food truck really serves up Seafood that is worth the experience. Something good to note as well is that I am pregnant and can really only stick to having cooked sushi which makes me feel a little less excited than I normally would about getting sushi, but I have to say that I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed the flavors and freshness at this place. Not only that, the service was quite quick and I feel very certain that we will return to get our Sushi here over any other spot in Coeur d’Alene. The only downside which isn’t even that big of a deal, and also not the the fault of Raw Dead Fish, was just the area that we sat to eat, there weren’t a ton of chairs and it wasn’t the cleanest it could be, however one of the people from Raw Dead Fish actually came out and cleaned the tables for us without batting and I which we absolutely appreciated. And either way I enjoy eating outside so it’s not too big of a deal, but just a personal preference to maybe have more chairs since I have young kids and I don’t always like having them sit on my lap while I’m trying to eat, especially when my pregnant belly is continuing to get bigger lol. But either way I have plenty of good things to say about this food truck itself, the people, the food, and we look forward to visiting again soon!
