We stopped here with a group of 21 from our of state. We had the best service and food I have had in a long time. Karen was an amazing hostess. We were able to get our party in, fed, and out in an hour and a half. I haven’t had catfish that good since I was a kid. If your in the area, check them out. Everyone in our group was extremely happy with their dinners.

Overheard someone in my training class mention this place… if you like good ole home cooking… I went there and sure enough a woman in my class was there so I joined her… I got the special Catfish, turnip greens, hush puppies and a salad. The food was delicious … the wait staff was cheerful and attentive and the decor was on point… great local spot

I normally hate to do bad reviews, but this review has to do with operational issues and not the taste of the food. Our food tasted good but we did not get refills on our drinks and the beans and mashed potatoes on our plates were not as hot as they should have been. The beans tasted good but the temperature on them seem like the kitchen had not warmed them up.

Great customer service! Stopped late less than an hour before closing. Sides were good but steaks weren’t prepared the way we ordered. Eating 1 meal a day on the road sometimes it doesn’t go as planned. When checking out the (now I Know) owner was cashing us out. She asked “how was everything.” I told her our displeasure, and she tore up the ticket. This is not what I expected! I still tried to pay and she refused. This not the results I wanted. I may have been displeased with the steak, but the meal was good quality and had good flavor. I chocked it up to abusy day at the restaurant. I will be back based on the Owner’s professionalism and other reviews I have read. This is a popular local spot, which are our favorites.

I’ve eaten here for every meal. Everything has been so good. Great people, great prices, and excellent food. The bacon and cheese omelette was delicious and the home fries are cooked to perfection.
