I love their English muffins! I can’t find any where else that has better English muffins than the Bakehouse. It is a great spot for breakfast and lunch. All the bake goods are great!

Wasn’t overly impressed with the food and the young folks there working there were typical young folks and not overly interested in being helpful. I fully admit that I’m past 50 and have a touch of grumpy old man’itis but they seemed to generally want to do the bare minimum and that may be because they just don’t know any better. For example, we asked about cinnamon rolls and the young lady working the register said they weren’t ready. She didn’t bother to ask anyone WHEN they would be ready until we pushed a little. I don’t feel she was being rude, she just didn’t consider it might helpful to ask when they would be ready. Turns out it was 5 minutes and we were happy to wait for them but could have easily walked out the door instead. That being said, the aforementioned cinnamon rolls were middle-of-the-road and seemed to be stale which surprised me as we were there first thing in the morning. Not sure I’ll be heading back.

Fantastic bakery!! Amazing customer service, great coffee (I LOVE their nitro cold brew!!!), and they have these incredible everything scones! They have some great take home baked goods as well. Best place to grab a quick breakfast in downtown Franklin!!! I walk 6 miles each way on the weekends specifically to grab their breakfast!

It was my first time walking in this new place. Was very excited about their concept so I decided to try their pastry because I had a table for brunch next door. At the time, the restaurant had 4 tables occupied, there were 2 ladies in front of me in line. I picked Tiramisu and cake pops from the countertop. Great price point for the location but what I didn’t get was, It took almost it 15 mins for me to get my Togo orders. I wasn’t mad but it was long enough to count how many staff were in-house VS customers served. Maybe this was a new management but I couldn’t imagine a full house with lines in front of the counter trying to order. The salad and fresh baked bread look amazing. But my Tiramisu tasted horrible, it was bunch of topping with bread, not really flavorful. Maybe I’m too used to Wholefoods Tiramisu ‍♀️. I will try their sandwiches next time , not the pastry.

Went to Olivia’s Olive oil bar behind here, and they recommended getting some bread to dip here. It was later at night, but they had fresh baguettes that just came out, and it was amazing! Came back the next day for lunch and had the caprese sandwich, and a special with ham, fig, and brie. Definitely did NOT disappointment, and each sandwich came with a side, the orzo and quinoa salads were both delicious as well! All the staff were super friendly, quick, and everything was spot on. Our favorite place in all of Franklin!

We saw the line of people and almost didn’t stay, but we’re so glad we did. The shrimp salad sandwich was perfectly balanced and the snicker doodles were the perfect. Happy to see they had non-dairy alternatives for creamer and the nitro Switters iced coffee was super smooth. Love the decor and the tall shelves of fresh bread. Looked like a great place to work outside too. I’m so glad downtown Franklin has this bakery and deli now.

Woman, veteran owned business located in downtown Franklin offering deli & bakery items. You will also find a small bar area and market area to purchase items. There is plenty of seating outside or you can sit indoors. It’s a great place to stop in for breakfast or lunch or have coffee with a friend. There is parking across the street in the lot daily until 11am, after that you can find street parking.

We stopped in for breakfast this morning and absolutely loved it. Great space and very friendly staff. Since it was our first time, we tried the ham/cheese, bacon/egg/cheese, and pain au chocolat. All three were excellent as the puff pastry was spot on. Also, the coffee is superb. Definitely can’t wait to come back for lunch.

The name is deceiving! This is not your corner favorite with simply homemade delectable pastries and breads. This is a full service restaurant that is AMAZING! Had a scrumptious dinner there last night and I can’t say enough good things. We had the chicken pot pie and the special – a lemon chicken with orzo. Delicious! All dinners come with a beautiful salad and basket of homemade breads with rosemary butter. This place is a ‘must’ to try. It is my new favorite. (Oh, and they have a great selection of wines too!)
