My husband and I went in for restaurant week on a Saturday around 8:30 p.m. They had a couple bigger parties and a few tables, but otherwise weren’t too busy. We were seated right away. Our server, Cephus, was great. They were able to recommend a nice drink for me and seemed to always be there at the right time. Our food came out timely, not waiting too long between courses but also not feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The food was really delicious. I was happy with everything that was brought out. My husband also enjoyed his meal. I felt like the value was worth the price for a three course meal, and would definitely be interested in going back and trying their regular menu. Don’t let the strip mall exterior being next to a Jersey Mike’s fool you, the inside was beautiful. Nicely decorated with a cozy, but upscale feeling. Overall a good night out for us.

First time here and food was “killer” as my partner says. Working with a phenomenal chef, my bar is very high. Our dishes were perfectly prepared and nicely presented. The cocktails were delish and the service excellent. The filet was juicy and flavorful, potstickers the best I’ve had in dsm (I did ask for more amazing sauce), and the wedge salad was crisp and wonderfully flavorful. Thank you Kaitlin and Michelle for making our evening special. We will be back.

A new favorite. The menu is super simple and almost underwhelming but execution was fantastic. The wine menu was extremely well priced and the cocktails were great. Service from all three people that stopped by our table was superb. It’s a modern vibe and feels like a place you’d find on vacation near the coast. WDSM needs to support this place so they are here indefinitely. Thank you Michelle and team!

The service was great, our waitress made very good recommendations without trying to upsell us on every dish. The drinks cocktails were well crafted and the old fashioned was served very well with the smoke, great presentation. Food was fantastic overall and the portions were a good size definitely not large. The one thing that could be better is the 90 dollar surf and turf dish could come with a better vegetable side dish of some sort. There was a tiny amount of mashed potatoes that the lamb was served on but more would be very welcome.

This is my go to spot in WDM/Clive! A group of friends went tonight to celebrate a few birthdays and we were blown away by Zach’s hospitality! He truly is a rare find and we had such a nice time thanks to his service. He is truly committed to providing a positive experience for his guests and it was apparent as soon as we walked through the door. Hold onto him and we’ll be back for sure!

Went to Aura for a friend’s birthday party and we were impressed. Great food, service and atmosphere. I had a smoked old fashioned, and it was incredibly delicious. We shared the Butcher Block for 2 dinner. It was cooked to perfection. We are looking forward to going back soon.

My first time at Aura, I called and made reservations for my girlfriends birthday. The staff on the phone, and when we were at dinner flawless. Everyone was extremely nice, smiles, accommodating, our waiter knew exactly what he was serving what the dishes were, and very tentative to our table. I will definitely be back to try more on the menu.
