If y’all need a fixing of homecooked, beautifully simple, honest, and down-to-earth soul food that will rival even your own mama’s cooking, come here! This food truck serves HEAPING portions of food that is cooked with so much love and flavor and is run by people even more wonderful than the food. The smothered ribs were so tender and and the sides paired so well with it. The apple cheesecake was absolutely humongous and one of the best desserts I have ever had, hands down. Make sure to call or text ahead to make sure they still got food, as it can run out quickly!

i had the beef tips over rice plate at around 6pm yesterday. i was stuffed and still had enough food left over to eat 2 more times. i sat down on my couch so my food goes down a bit and passed out till 5am right now . banana pudding was delicious and so was everything on the plate. highly recommend stopping by. best soul food in austin.

Okay, this is not a Restaurant. It’s a tiny trailer in a dodgy neighborhood which I wasn’t told by Google. I don’t eat from food trucks or trailers. I don’t recommend that you.

I had the oxtail plate and it was amazing. Plates are filled to the top it can barely close! You will get what you pay for. Customer service is good. Praying nothing but blessings over this small business. I will continue to support!

Best soul food in the town really big portions we enjoyed the banana pudding was really good. I also liked that the food wasn’t to salty especially for the elderly people like myself. The owner was really nice and friendly may God continue to bless her business

Tieisha, the owner of MaMa’z Soul Kitchen does not disappoint! The food is so good, you’ll be dreaming about it for days! Get you some gumbo, the seafood boil, the smothered pork chops and the peach cobbler for dessert. 1 plate is enough to feed 2 people! This minority, woman owned business is one you will go back to again and again!!
