El caldo de marisco was delicious. But I prefer the shrimp with the shell off. The fish tacos… I didn’t know if I was having chicken or fish. I didn’t care for it. I’ll definitely go back for the soup.

My husband loves the Birria Tacos here “best ever!” It seems a little like a hole in the wall, but the food is good. I’m not big on the tortilla chips for the salsa though.

Recently, my family and I visited Alondra’s Mexican Restaurant for Father’s Day. Unfortunately, service and FOOD QUALITY has drastically decreased over the years. During our meal, the chips were rock solid, beverages were not refilled and most importantly a guest in our party found a metal bristle in the pasta. The bristle was mixed in with the pasta making it unidentifiable to the naked eye. Unfortunately no one in our party brought a magnet to hover over our food prior to consumption. Thus, leading to the metallic bristle being found by a crunch in the mouth! We immediately notified the staff which they did not do anything. I kept my temper to not disrupt the atmosphere during the holiday dinner. I sincerely hope no fathers or any other restaurant guests received any metallic surprises in their food resulting in a hospital visit or internal bleeding. If you do decide to venture into this restaurant I highly advise hovering a magnet over your food and bringing your own drinks.

Everyone at Alondra’s was really nice, and it is a nice atmosphere. The service was great!! The flavor of the chiliquiles was really good, but their chips are really thick and hard. They are probably homemade, but I prefer thinner, crispy chips as opposed to thick, hard ones. The grilled chicken was also kind of tough. It could have been an off-day regarding the chicken. I don’t know. Overall, still good.

The torta came with fries & ketchup which is very odd. Also, didn’t come with any salsa disappointed to say the least.

I’m starting to miss the old Alondra’s or when they first had opened. I haven’t ate there since May of 2021 but my mom and I decided to get food to go. One their pasta is not the same anymore i don’t know whose back there cooking but man it’s not the same. The pasta has a new sauce now it’s not as orange as it use to be. It doesn’t taste the same and second my mom had ordered lomo saltado and it looks burnt ! We ate as much as we could but they honestly need to do way better.
