I finally found a mole in Lubbock that’s delicious! The balance of heat and flavor was spot on. A member of my party ordered that, another did enchiladas suizas, and I had the tres amigos which was a chille rellano, hard taco, and cheese enchilada. The only partial negative thing I’d say is that the enchiladas suizas needed more sauce. The chips and salsa were great. The atmosphere and service were friendly and welcoming.

Made a spontaneous stop here and glad we did! We got seated as soon as we walked in. Got a plate of chips and salsa right away. The salsa was a green salsa which had chunks of jalapeño, white onion, and looked like green onion. It was good! I love my salsas to have a good kick and this one was addicting. I ordered some tacos and hubs got the caldo de 7 mares. He said it had a good kick to it as well. I got two tacos de tripas which were crispy and done good, two de asada, and one el pastor. All of them were good! Felt bad bc they were already closed and we were still enjoying our food. Only con: Aguas frescas don’t get refills.

The waitress was slow very unresponsive to refills. Silverware was clean. Barbara was excellent. sopapillas were okay, Flan was excellent. Huevos Rancheros was excellent. Bathroom was clean.
