Finally a GREAT sandwich place in my area. I am sorry if that hurt other sandwich places, I am not saying you are bad, I am just saying this place is so worth it. You can get a sandwich on a soft or hard roll. I say hard roll because it just reminds me of that classic Italian style sandwich. The place is quick and respectful. You get in, you get out. Give them a little time because they get packed and are using high quality ingredients. The picture shows me enjoying a sandwich called, THE MIA. Whipped ricotta, provolone, munster, apricot jam and arugula. They also let me add salami to it. SO GOOD. I have also had THE CARMELLA and the BIG MELON (was only during the Howell Melon Festival). All great and filling. You can tell they only use the best ingredients. The staff is very nice and makes sure you are fed. GO GET A SANDWICH!

Delicious, fresh sandwiches with a fun twist on soda! Loving this location in downtown. Easy to walk to, lots of parking or call ahead with an order. I’ve eaten here several times and keep coming back. The whipped ricotta is awesome. Friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend. I got The Michael sandwich and Mean Girl soda.

Oh my god these are seriously the best sandwiches & drinks! The sandwiches are made with some of the freshest ingredients out there. The prosciutto is drool worthy!!! The drinks are top tier, and beautiful. It doesn’t hurt that the owner, Dena, and the rest of her team are just the greatest humans. They’re always so kind when I come in and truly make these sandwiches with care. It’s not just thrown together, they actually listen. They also change gloves regularly and wipe down the area if you have an allergy. They offer sugar free options on drinks and gluten free bread choices as well! The Crunchy Pickle is the BEST addition to the Howell Downtown and I’m so glad they’re here. They love their community and it SHOWS. Thank you for being here!!!

I’m always looking for quick lunch options (because I’m irresponsible and never have a packed lunch for work!) in the area – I work down the street and was recommended to The Crunchy Pickle through a social media share. I got The Jessica and it was fresh and delicious. Friendly and quick staff and the gourmet soda was so good. Love that they serve Great Lakes chips, too. So glad to see this addition to the community!

We stopped here and got some sandwiches and drinks. The drinks were pretty good! Love the idea of gourmet soda. If I am honest, the sandwiches were not for us. We got brunos, and as much as I was excited for jam on a sandwich, it ended up overpowering the whole sandwich. The whipped ricotta had no flavor. That said, I look forward to trying more of the menu. We had a great service. Also I will say for the price you’re getting a whole lot of food! It will fill you up.

I don’t have enough good things to say about this place. Each item on the menu looks fantastic, I got the Bruno and it was insane. The quality of the bread and other ingredients is so good. All of the sodas have sugar free options. My husband and I will definitely be coming back as I have to try every single thing on the menu. Also everyone was busting their butt, for being the second day open it looked like everything was running smoothly. Can’t wait to come back!

I don’t live near Howell but was in the area and we stopped in. (Fun fact, all of the sandwiches are named after the owners family members) I ordered “The Joe” . It has a delicious blend of freshly sliced meats, fresh mozzarella and a tomato cream spread all on a delicious soft but sturdy roll. It was delicious down to the last bite. The staff were all friendly and the owner Dena personally checked in with us to make sure everything was up to the high quality and standards she strives for. I was surprised how big the sandwich was especially for the price!

I finally made it in to try The Crunchy Pickle and I was so impressed! I shared the Joe and an Emo soda with my dude and we both loved everything. The ingredients were fresh (chef’s kiss for the mozzarella!) and the soda was like having a fun mocktail. We’ll definitely be back!
