I am pleased to say I’ve known the owner of Sally’s restaurant for over twenty years but what I didn’t know was that he is an amazing cook. Where do I start? The pulled pork sandwich is the best that I’ve ever had in my life! The sandwich comes with an amazing sauce, the meat is extremely tender, and the Cole slaw and pickles make it simply awesome! The short ribs are extremely tender and again the sauce sets them apart from any I’ve ever tasted. Last but not least the Barbecue ribs are so tender and juicy along with the sauce creates a mouth watering experience not many cooks can capture. The staff is both professional, courteous, and friendly. I recently gave a birthday celebration at the restaurant and the staff and owners made my guest feel so appreciated and special. Everyone had a wonderful time and they’re still talking about how wonderful the food and service was. If you want great food, excellent service, all at prices that won’t break your wallet you’ve got to visit Sally’s. You’ll definitely be more than satisfied.

My experience at Sully’s BBQ was something that has never happened to me before in any other restaurant. I entered sully’s BBQ and headed straight to the restroom. On my way walking down the hallway towards the restroom, i was suddenly chased and stopped by an employee…that employee yelled in a sturn tone at me… where are you going?! You can’t just walk through here like that!

Everything i have tried has been amazing !!! The corn beef, pulled pork sandwich, pulled chicken, the catfish !!!! Oh my the catfish is amazing !!!! Love the baked beans and mac n cheese !! I still have more dishes to try, but i love their food and the owners are wonderful people. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!!

First time at Sullys and I will be back! The Sullys dog was incredible, ribs were phenomenal, pulled pork was to die for. The side were the best I’ve had! Everyone working there was so nice. Honestly I’ll probably be back next week.

I like to support island business, but not a fan…totally overpriced ($15 for a pulled pork dinner with tiny portions). My Mac n cheese was somehow separated and not warmed up all the way. Also smelled and tasted like feet. Our family will not be returning.

I’ve been here twice to give different items a try but the ribs taste like store bought and the pulled pork is alright everything for some reason is cold when I get it from here idk if that’s the point like your spoused to reheat it??? But the mac and cheese is way to creamy not very good but everything literally comes out room temperature.

I finally decided to drop into Sully’s on Macomb to check the place out (I believe in supporting local businesses). One of the few reasons if you are not from the island you might consider making a trip. I ordered a full rack of baby back ribs to take home. They were…, To. Die. For. The ribs were moist, succulent and tender. The meat was juicy and fell from the bone. One of the things I really enjoyed was the flavor of wood smoke permeating the ribs and sauce. They now offer dine-in service and have beer, wine and mixed drinks available at the bar or with the meal. Looking forward to returning and trying the pulled pork. Great choice for a casual lunch or early dinner either by yourself, or with friends and family. Highly recommended.

Best corned beef sandwiches! Lots of melt-your-mouth corned beef. We had it topped with sauerkraut & Swiss on an onion bun. Excellent. Mac & cheese and cole slaw are very good too but the sandwiches are the main show!
