We had a party of 8. The server was new. We waited about 30 minuets for our food to come. I recommend paying $30 for the buffet. It’s expensive but the food is not worth the wait. Get the buffet food so you don’t risk waiting 30 minuets for food.

Our breakfast was absolutely outstanding. It’s the best breakfast I’ve had in recent memory. Everything we had – Benedict, biscuits and gravy, avocado toast – was exceptional. I understand they’ve made some recent changes to the food and beverage at the Lodge and I can tell you they made the right changes. This will be our go-to spot for breakfast any time we are in Williamsburg.

Our waitress Aretha was an absolute gem. She was immensely accommodating and made certain we always had enough water and knew all the menu options before making our breakfast decisions. The food was amazing and plentiful, but Aretha was the star of the show.

I was quite surprised at how tasty my breakfast was! For all those staying at the Williamsburg Lodge I highly recommend catching a quick morning repast before checking the sites.

The menu options for those with celiac disease/gluten intolerance are very poor. Colonial Williamsburg can definitely improve here.

We had a very good lunch. The crab & corn chowder was excellent as were the turkey & brie & shrimp po’ boy sandwiches.

We spent $90 for brunch for 2 people. The food was fine, but so overpriced. Will never go back.
