I used go here but it seems like they like to serve their ” kind ” a better way. They have something against Latinos and white. One girl had a seizure at that place a year later she goes back to trys to order the brother recognized her because of some guy she was with last time. So He ignored her and keep talking to another brother at that place be careful what you eating.

If you haven’t been here, ya sleeping…..massive amounts of portions and it’s that homestyle soul that was put into it. Talking with the chef, she’s really passionate and the Mac n Cheese was delicious. I will definitely be back when I’m in Norfilly…..thanks a bunch.

I have been getting the pork rib platter from Meadowlane BBQ for years and it was good juicy & tender. Until today. First of all the price went up. from $12 to $15.96 with taxes. What a disappointment!!! The ribs were BURNT, almost crispy no juice no BBQ flavor. I had something that was supposed to be Mac & cheese and the cabbage was nondescript and tasteless. I did my very best to eat the very expensive platter, but could not. So I will be taking it back after work. I should have known that they were under new management because I was the ONLY customer in the store. Could I give 1/2 star??

Food was not the same chicken was burnt underneath the barbecue sauce, the Mac n cheese was hard and brittle, and the potato salad had chunks of uncooked potatoes..I haven’t been down erie ave in years..I should have known when I didn’t see the chickens in the window..It’s a never going back again for me

A true hole in the wall. Quite rundown, the ceiling was leaking, walls were dingy but my ribs were tasty. Well seasoned but for me, they could’ve been cooked longer to have the meat fall off the bone. There’s a probability that I’d return when I need a rib fix.

This place was the go to spot in north Philadelphia for forever. It has since changed hands and is NO WHERE near the BBQ spot it used to be. When I first started going again, the ribs were tender. They weren’t prepared on a grill but super tender the side’s were hit or miss. It seems to be ALWAYS a revolving door of employees also. They need to get it together or they’re gonna lose all their customers.
