Island Noodles utilizes freshly made Yaki-Soba noodles, made with buckwheat, traditionally served in Hawaii. These noodles are wok-fired with fresh garlic, fresh ginger, a medley of 21 fresh vegetables, three of which are seasonal, in custom designed woks in our secret island sauce. The outcome is a unique noodle dish with a high flavor profile using no dairy, nuts, or meat products (option to add teriyaki chicken).

Visiting my mom and wanted to try something yummy. Google “best places to eat near me” and this was at the top of the list. I completely understand why! DELICIOUS!!! With only 2 items on the menu, it still rated high, so I had high hopes. It didn’t disappoint! I got it with chicken and holy goodness! It was expecting side, for what it was, but worth it for sure! Also, it fed me for 2 meals (I’m not the biggest eater). The service was great! It’s not super noticeable from the street (even tho it is right off the main road) so, glad I found it! 10/10 recommend. Also, I can’t handle ANY spicy food and this was perfect, but they has spicy sauces you could add to it! You won’t regret trying it!

This is a great food experience. The chef is awesome & very nice to the customers. You get to sit outside in the wonderful weather in Ruidoso. They have tables with umbrellas. And…the food, the food! Simply scrumptious–it will wake up your taste buds! We will most definitely be here a lot during our 2 week stay.

Amazing! This place serves two dishes: one with chicken and veggies and one is vegan. I would highly recommend the chicken. So yummy the flavor is tasted all the way through and super tender. The noodles have a million vegetables in them (well not a million but it was amazing). Even the kiddos enjoyed this meal. If there was one place I could choose to eat in Ruidoso it would be this place. Seriously, give it a try! I was also impressed that they could put three boxes into a bag for the to-go order.

Passing through the city and wanted to try some local options. When I asked if the food was gluten free I was thankful for the knowledgeable answer from the Chef (owner?). I ordered a drink and my other half had the protein option. He enjoyed his dinner! The atmosphere in that shopping center was so much fun and small town vibe.

This was the first place we tried on our vacation to Ruidoso and it was our favorite by FAR. We actually ended up coming twice because we were craving it again after the first day. Everything is cooked to perfection, seriously. The sauce was delicious, the chicken and noodles are seasoned just right and it’s packed full of SO many veggies. You get so much food for the price. We live in Texas but already want to come back and visit just for this little gem!!

Noodles were actually pretty ordinary. It wasn’t terrible, but not extraordinary either. We felt the price was very high for basically fast food that we could have gotten anywhere else. The setting is cool since it’s right in downtown Ruidoso and that probably explains the expense. We were very surprised to see they had just 2 menu items, noodles and veggies with or without chicken. We probably will not eat here again.
