Wifey and I are new to the area and wanted to find us a good Soul Food location. I think we found it. After reading their reviews, we decided to check them out. Their customer service got great reviews for a reason. The ladies were very pleasant and attentive. We decided to share an order. It’s been too many times that the food didn’t match the positive reviews. This time, the food was as good as the reviews said. We ate in the truck to taste it while it was hot. We ordered a fried Pork Chop dinner plate with cabbage and mac and cheese. Chops had crunch and were seasoned. Sides tasted good as well. They were out of cornbread, so we got a roll. They were different from the rolls I’ve had before but still tasted good.

This is the best place in Longview hands down. The burger was perfect. The meat was cooked perfectly and was juicy. Even though the burger was so juicy the bun still had a slight crunch from it being cooked and wasn’t soggy like most places. The fries are out of this world. The customer service was what stood out for me though. They were so nice and sweet. 100% will be back.

It was real busy and they did a great job on service with the amount of people eating. We got the 2 catfish fillet basket.. neither one of us could finish the whole meal. The fish seemed to have a slightly smokey flavor and it was delicious. The hush puppies had a unique shape with a fantastic flavor. Overall a great meal and I would come back.

True foodie here from South Mississippi and New Orleans, ran across this little gem family in tow. Daughter wasn’t convinced because how it looked from the outside! We placed our order… liver and onions, chicken fried steak, fried okra, among other things, and we sat down. Everything was simply divine, fresh, and home cooked. Service was impeccable and friendly. Atmosphere was homey and welcoming. I’ll take a hole in the wall any day over fast food or chain restaurants and my daughter learned a valuable lesson… never judge a book by its cover. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything I ate was amazing and made me want to try anything they serve here. I had the chicken fried steak with cream gravy, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, and macaroni and cheese. Crispy fried and steak was tender with great cream gravy, mashed potatoes were seasoned and the brown gravy was outstanding and the macaroni and cheese was creamy and delicious. The staff was also super friendly and very attentive. Well definitely be visiting again when I come back to town next week.
