My sister and I had been planning to visit this restaurant due to our love for tacos. My sister had them on last night, her fajita steak taco was pretty good. However, the guacamole wasn’t too good because the staff said that they were out of cilantro but she got it anyway. When we tried it it was not seasoned at all and tasted like straight avocados but that wasn’t an issue because we love avocados. Today, when I got off of work I stopped by and ordered the same-thing she ordered last night and even added a side of guacamole that costs $8. Well when I got home, the tacos were delicious however the Guacamole was loaded with salt. I called back and someone picked up, I told him that I had just left from placing and picking up an order but I wanted to know if I could bring the guacamole back either tonight or tomorrow for a refund because it was super salty. He pretended to not speak English and said “closed”. I said no problem I just want to know if I could come by tomorrow—— and he hung up In my face not even letting me finish my sentence. I called back to try to explain and he picked up and hung up again. I WILL be putting this in my refrigerator and stopping by tomorrow to get a refund. $8 for SALTY guacamole is a lot to be paying in the first place and It’s not cool. I’m not sure if I’ll be returning as a customer. Not because of the food but because of the disrespect. The gentleman at the front counter was nice and friendly when I ordered my food though.

Came here on a Tuesday and got the Tuesday special (quesadilla and drink). Delicious, photo added! They made our food super quickly (which was great because we were on a lunch break). And we will definitely be back to try other food!

This place showed very racist behavior..they only provided small portion of food but charge full price. I was rushed when ordering and never received utensils or napkins with my meal. Please do not eat here. There are better taco places in Jacksonville with a better experience. It was my first time going and I will not return ever.HORRIBLE SERVICE. I recently put a review on today because I was upset about the incident with the food truck on Phillips. If you read my previous review, I basically waited an hr for them to open only for them to tell me they don’t open until 5 and did not make my order when the website said 3:30. I went to the restaurant on Bowden and spoke with the most pleasant lady at the restaurant. I explained what happened. She was engaging, she took notes and she immediately apologized. She even called her GM in front of me to address the issue. GM offered my food for free due to the inconvenience. I appreciate the diligence with correcting the issue even though I wasn’t looking for a free meal. Just wanted the establishment to know being I’m a regular customer. My husband and I love you guys steak nachos so we wer very pleased to have this reconciled because we didn’t want to find a new fav!

There was a dead smushed German cockroach in my sons to go queso. Smashed in the and the rim of the cup. I am disgusted. That shows a sign of filth and infestation of roaches. DO NOT eat here. I can guarantee the whole kitchen is infested with roaches.

Haven’t had tacos for a while. It’s hard to find the right quality for the right price. Usually it’s 3 tacos for 10 bucks and no drink included. I was hungry as hell today so I basically surrendered and was willing to pay anything just to get a bite. I walked into Mr. Taco and I wasn’t amazed. The restaurant itself is dead, could use some life, good music and better set up. Anyway I saw a “todays special” sign 4 tacos plus a drink for $9. I thought it was a deal. I ordered my 2 chicken 2 beef tacos. Got the works included. I paid $9.67. I took my order to go and got in my car and when I opened up the tacos I was pretty amazed. They were plated nicely, they gave ne green, red salsa and limes. Perfect. I put salsa on my tacos plus pico de Gallo and they were pretty good. Not dry or tasteless.. I enjoyed that. Thank you. I recommend whatever the special may be…idk about everything else
