The atmosphere of the place, as long as you can eat outside, is why we go. We typically have a good server. The wait for the food varies, but it’s usually on the slow side. Overall, the food is good, but a little pricey for what you are getting. You have to pay with cash, but they do have an ATM machine. The issue is every other time we try to go, they are closed. Sometimes they will have private parties posted to their FB account, but we’ve found that we can’t count on that. We often call before we leave because it’s a 25 minute drive, but even that may take several attempts because they don’t always answer the phone. Last night we were turned away an hour before they closed because the kitchen was too backed up. I understand that places get busy and events can happen, but it’s become more of the norm rather than the exception that you can’t rely on getting served here.

The Dam Inn is an incredible restaurant tucked away in a picturesque setting. The views are spectacular. If the weather is nice, make sure you sit outside on the patio. The service is always friendly. And the food… well everything is incredible! Plus, they have a large room for wedding receptions and other large events!! I highly recommend the Dam Inn!!

(I am amending a previous review.) My husband and I decided to try again after a bad experience. We were treated to a great experience on the deck. There was plenty of waitstaff to take care of everyone’s needs, and the food arrived quickly (buffalo chicken wontons are amazing). We will definitely be back.

The waitress was fine.. so this service isn’t about her. But we went in on a Thursday. We waited to be seated for a bit then over all waited for over an hour for food. I got the bam bam tacos. They were good. Again the only downfall is the wait. The cook who said he doesn’t usually deliver food was delivering food.

Canceled my order after I left since I felt sick with a HEART CONDITION but my party was there and asked for it to be put in a box to go for me. Waitress was too busy socializing and not listening to her customers . Will never step foot in that shambles of a establishment again
