Since it was Friday, sunny, and for me, the end of another work week, I decided to treat myself to lunch. So, I picked up the phone and called The Rail at 400 High St in Somersworth. My desire today was a large Steak Bomb(Pic 1). I got it to go since The Rail is for take-out only, I also got an order of their Homemade Meatballs(Pic 2) to go with the lasagna my wife is serving this weekend.

If you’re looking for an honest and unbiased review, this is it. I’m visiting from Pennsylvania and I do alot of traveling and like to try pizza places wherever I go. I got the loaded and the great steak pizza. Both were phenomenal. The pizzas took a little longer than what they originally told me, but it was a rainy weekend day so I’m sure they were very busy. I will probably try another pizza before I go. Keep up the good work.

Great service, but run of the mill food. I would give the poutine higher marks because it’s the best item on the menu. The sub I got was ok, the fried mozzarella was typical and the marinara sauce was almost raw and sweet. We didn’t try the pizza, and maybe that’s great, and we may go back to see.

Love the food here. Tried most everything and I’m continually impressed. My favorite affordable pizza in the lilac area for sure, and New York style crust of course. Very friendly and welcoming regulars and staff really makes this place feel like a visit to the favorite family members summer bbq. Always lots of fun and always leave fat and happy

I love the food and it’s where the locals hang out so they know good food and drinks when they see it. If you want a true pizza bar with great salads, pizza and sandwiches, reasonably priced, you can’t go wrong! Go with the flow and the servers will be appreciative.

These are the most disgusting garlic knots I’ve ever seen in my life. Dough really. See all that oil they are SATURATED in it! I was wringing one out to show my boyfriend and it actually squirted out and landed all over my couch And the pepperoni, like why? It’s so chewy… I would seriously NEVER recommend wasting money there.
