The food tastes fresh and well seasoned. Do add the onions! They are prepared in a way that takes away the aftertaste. The tiziki sauce is creamy and delicious. The patron in front of us also suggested asking to add rice to a gyro, it was a good suggestion. The baklava was flakey, crunchy, sweet, and dense all at the same time. We came in right before the lunch rush, if you do hit a rush expect to wait a little while, as each customer is served in order, and some items take longer to prepare than others, but the wait will be worth it. Their pricing is right and the portion sizes generous.

I have visited this place in the past and enjoyed it. Not sure what’s happened! Stopped by yesterday at lunchtime and was greeted with an unpleasant smell. The place was empty except for one diner. A young man came from the back area to take my order. He was polite, but looked like he’d rather be anywhere on earth than there, and the “cook” (?) in the back (who I saw from the cash register area) had a long beard that wasn’t covered and didn’t look super clean. He also looked like he’d rather not be there. I ordered the chicken plate and paid for it before I saw the guy in the back. In addition to the chicken plate, I ordered a pita. The smell in the building was starting to bother me (weak stomach, unfortunately; yes, I’m a wimp when it comes to smells), so when the meal came out in a covered container, I took it and left. I realized when I got in my car that the pita I paid for wasn’t in the package I received. At home, I took a good look at the food in the container and it just didn’t look fresh or appealing in any way. I tossed it. Felt bad about wasting it, but didn’t want to chance it. Also felt bad about wasting $15. Maybe I just went on a bad day? Or new owners have just begun and haven’t figured things out yet? Sad situation either way. Hope this restaurant makes some good changes and survives.

Smells like sewage. Health code violations everywhere. Every time I’m there they pour the newly cooked food on top of the old food then stir it. I’ve watched this place plummet in quality in the past few years.

ALWAYS absolutely delicious and amazing staff!! I love coming here when I want something refreshing but filling. Chicken Gyro Plate with extra pita is my go-to. I could eat here for the rest of my life, happily!

Used to be good and fresh. I just ate (@ 2pm on a monday )a plate with hummus w/pita bread meat n rice seem over cooked or old. Rice is dry n tasteless. Store stinks as soon as you walk in. Probably next on the chopping block to go out of business DONT GO WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This used to be my daughter and I’s favorite place to eat. It was clean and inviting and the food was fresh. We went yesterday and it smelled like sewer when we walked in. The lady that helped us was very friendly but chose not to wear a bra and her shirt was dirty. My feet stuck to the floor. Bathroom was out of soap. Walls and doors were filthy. Ate part of our food but felt sick to my stomach the rest of the evening. So disappointing.

It is sad how quickly the quality of Gyro Paradise has gone downhill since Shuk sold it. It used to be one of my favorite restaurants – fresh, delicious food. Since it was sold to new owners, it has gone downhill the few times I have been in. I went in today for the last time shortly after they opened for the day.
