Food was not bad but was nothing above average. More importantly I did not get much of a warm fuzzy from the staff. I expected more as the dining room was festive. With prices high everywhere right now there are certainly better Mexican restaurants within walking distance that have a proven track record of high quality and better experience.

I don’t normally write negative reviews, but this one is warranted. Male host refused to address us when flagged over. He shook his head no and yelled u have to wait. We left! I sent private email, manager responded promised to send gift card. Claimed she did, but never received. Advised her in email and promised to send another. But never received 2nd gc. Told her about it, she responded said she forgot bc she is now in Greece for vacation. This was end of July, still haven’t got anything. I will never go back. And I always took my son there. 7 yrs in the area and went 3 time atleast each year. You lost my business.

Sergio’s has been one of my favorite spots in Geneva for 10+ years! If your looking to go my advice is the pineapple bacon/guac appetizer it’s delicious. Dish pictured which I’ve had many times is the shrimp avacado tostada’s. Their margaritas are excellent as well, including the bull dog with the upside down baby coronarita. If checking them out for the first time go towards the evening and check out 1910 it’s an added bar from the same owners above the restaurant. Atmosphere is excellent cool place to get a few drinks.

Wife and I got the fish tacos and the ginger tea. The tea was very refreshing, chips were thicker than the ones I get in Texas. Was not spectacular but was not bad either.
