I started eating at hooks when it was in New Orleans. Happy that they bought one to Baton Rouge. I really enjoy eating their food . Everything comes out hot and fresh. They never disappoint me prices maybe a little more but you get what you pay for.

The food is always great however it appears that the food does not get cooked until one pays for the food. It’s only chicken. It’s okay to keep chicken ready for orders. That would keep the customer from having to wait too long. It does cost much to have to a certain amount of chicken prepared. But it’s good though lol

So I went here with the intent to have some good food but instead I am disappointed. It was my first time here so of course I’m asking questions. Asked the person in drive through if the “catfish” was really catfish and she replied yes, ok kool so I order it. Get all the way home and guess what, this is not catfish, it does not look, smell or taste nothing like catfish plus the fries was not completely cooked. I could not eat it and will bring it back for a refund!! The moment I opened the box I saw it was not catfish, yes I know because I don’t eat no type of fish but catfish and I’ve worked in a number of places that use a substitute for catfish and I personally think they should stop using Catfish on their menu if it’s not actual catfish and just label it as fish!!
