Food was good but the noodles and the fish were too creamy for me personally. Service was okay-ish except that our server accidentally spilled the soup on my partner’s phone. I don’t think he noticed that so we just wiped it off. The atmosphere was cozy, small area with dim lighting.

A michelin stared restaurant but it was very average. There are much better restaurants in nyc with fresh ingredients and great culinary techniques. I do question how they got their star. Starting off with complimentary bread, I don’t complain because it is complimentary. Had the Toro and Octopus for appetizer and Toro was very salty but bland. No flavor other than being salty. Octopus didn’t taste nor felt fresh but the sauce texture help out boost the flavor. Snow crab noodles is one of their known dishes but honestly I can make instant noodles too, just needed to add crab on top. It was just fine for me. Beignets for dessert was interesting? I didn’t understand the whole pairing situation, as if they just added those flavors all of a sudden. And they gave us a spoon and a knife for them. Please tell me how we were supposed to use these two combined.

Everything here is fantastic. The pork for two is crunchy and soft and very rich, def worth a try. Though I probably wouldn’t do it again. It’s very rich.

We had the octopus, the snow crab, and their special appetizer the taro with duck and scallion aioli. I like the octopus, but a bit too salty for my taste. The taro was good too but I wish there was more duck filling compared to the crunchy exterior. I like their snow crab a lot. For desserts, we had their Chinese beignets and it was great!

Absolutely delicious food, great service, and nice atmosphere! We hadn’t booked a table but we got to have a drink while we waited – and it was definitely worth it! The food was among the best I’ve had in NYC and I loved that there were pescatarian options. The staff was super friendly as well. Highly recommend.

Everything we ordered were very delicious, beautifully plated, and the staff’s generous offer for my birthday (a special dessert with a candle) was so sweet and thoughtful! I’d love to go back on another occasion!

The foods were designed nicely, but the dishes were mediocre. We were sat outside and it was so humid. If you want to pay for a michellin experience please do yourself a favor and not sit outside. It was the worse experience. There were mosquitoes flying around and we saw rats running around while eating outside. While it was super hot outside we were only offered room temp water with no ice. Customer service was mediocre, not as expected from a michellin star restaurant. Super shocked and disappointed.

the food was very good. the best was the pig out and wagyu tartare. the wagyu tartare had a strong smokey flavor that was balanced by the nori and garlic sauce. the pig out meat was extremely tender and the skin was thick and crispy. the peanut noodles were chewy and flavorful.

Love this place! Everything we ordered was delicious – both food and wine. Snow crab, fluke and deviled eggs were a few of our favorites. We also got the fish dish, the wagyu, octopus appetizer and broccoli. Can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu. We also met Andrew, one of the owners and he was super helpful with wine selection! I’d recommend this place and can see how they got their Michelin star!

Everything here was extremely special but it’s pricey per person so be prepared. Loved just about everything we ate. The Crab pasta, octopus and beignets are must eat. Wasn’t a huge fan of the English pea. This would be great for a special occasion date!
