I am a diehard DQ fan since childhood and come miles out of my way for this place, which was once great. The new staff here is SO BAD I changed review from 5 to a 1 and I will never come back. Unfriendly and the “guy” would not even stand still long enough for me to take a picture of the cone. Trash all over outside. One customer inside. The place across the way was packed with customers and no wonder.

The machine you put your credit card into had more personality and friendliness than the girl who took our order. The walk from the front door was sticky like a movie theater floor. So I took a walk around the entire dining room. All sticky. Pretty gross. Only reason they don’t get one star is because there are places worse than this.

There are many things to like about this location. The people have been nice and the food off the grill is pretty good. However, any visit is ruined if you order a Blizzard. My favorite is the Snickers Blizzard which is supposed to have a tiny amount of chocolate syrup in it. They put in way too much. So much in fact that it changes the consistency of the Blizzard to be more like a milkshake than ice cream. It’s way too thin and has a strong taste of chocolate syrup. No other Dairy Queen I have ever been to (in several states) does this. At most Diary Queens, when you order a Snickers Blizzard, the ice cream looks white with chunks. At this one it looks like they used chocolate ice cream from a broken soft serve machine. When they flip it over as they serve it to you it slops on the side of the cup. On top of that, they don’t mix the Blizzard all the way to the bottom. I ordered a large Heath Blizzard the other day and it was only mixed half way down the cup. I had the same with a medium Butterfinger Blizzard a couple weeks ago. Until management trains the staff to make a proper Blizzard, it’s just not worth going there for me.

Unfortunately, I don’t know how this place is even a 3 star. The service there is terrible and unfortunately the management and owner is the problem. I’ve been there and they are either out of everything or none of their equipment works. You should not be open if you can’t provide basic customer service. I want to purchase a Quart of ice cream plain and they give me a large cup and say it the same amount. I wonder if they ever when to school to understand what size is quart or not but the manager basically told me to take it or leave it. So, I think we know which option I took. Base on the customer traffic, I don’t see this Dairy Queen Surviving Especially given the service is bad. The only good thing was the young lady that work there who was very customer friendly. She should be the Manger. Will not be returning to this location.

I ordered a large butterfinger blizzard. The ice cream tasted plasticy and it was already melting the moment they handed it to me. I took a few bites and hated it so I tried to get a refund immediately after and they said no. It’s way too overpriced, their idea of a large is equivalent to a soda cup small. If you want a good butterfinger ice cream treat go to sonic where it’s actually tasty and the size is double.

Sometimes you crave a Blizzard. The lunch specials are great. The food isn’t fantastic but will easily satisfy a hungry tummy. On my last visit, there was only two working the whole lunch shift. The cashier was super busy with all orders but kept it real cool and got us everything we wanted and asked w/ a good attitude.
