Nice brunch spot with lots of menu options. We were a party of 9 so our order took a little longer and was not hot. It was delicious though. The portions are huge! The service was excellent and our server Danelle was great! Will be back again with a smaller group.

Total disappointment. Omelette was mediocre. The waffles and chicken were bland, no sauce was provided.

I loved the food. I had the eggs Benedict with the English muffin replaced with a big toasted tortilla. The egg was perfectly poached and the chorizo was spicy but just a bit not a lot. My side was hash browns but I asked for them crispy and they added the perfect amount of crisp. Kudos to the chef. Service was great as well. A lot of Prior reviews mentioned an unpleasant service experience. Whomever the rotten egg employee that the reviews mentioned- she has been reprimanded considering I didn’t encounter any service issue at all. It almost deterred me but glad I did come. Nice little corner nook for a quick breakfast. I will mention the sausage wasn’t to my husband preference (fried hard) as well as the biscuits and gravy wasn’t up to par on the seasoned part of the gravy.

Jamie at the Egg is awesome! She put several tables together because I had out of town visitors and there were 9 of us.

This place is always awesome. The food is good and health size portions. The staff is always friendly and on top of it with keeping your coffee topped off. I would have attached pictures to my review but I always dig in and finish my food before I remember to take pictures. The biscuits and gravy with a side of grits is my “go to” there.

Not great. Place was dirty, the staff wasn’t quite rude, but definitely not friendly or welcoming, and really slow. Had to wipe down our table because it was sticky, had to go in search of our own silverware. The food was barely average. I got the Crab Benedict, one of the poached eggs was way over cooked and the other was under, the hollandaise was thick and clotted like it had been sitting for a while, the country potatoes were also unevenly cooked, either hard and undercooked or burned, and had zero seasoning. Server didn’t check in regularly, never got a refill on tea, and then waiting for the check took forever, yet we were only one of three tables and there were three servers and a bus person. Won’t be back.

The Benedict where good, but the overall expiration wasn’t great. The service wasn’t great, the waitress never came and asked if we needed a coffee refill. The other girl brought us the wrong food at first, and when our food did come out my hasbrowns where missing. We asked for that and syrup for my mom’s waffles and she said she would be right back. Then we saw her at other tables. My mom finally had to get up and get her own syrup and ask for my hashbrowns again. She got the Chicken and Waffles but the chicken was over cooked and too crispy. We tried to be consideret of them being short staffed, but it wasn’t all that great expiriance.

The Egg at Davidson is the worst breakfast place I have ever been to. In general, I try to avoid hyperbolic and inflammatory statements. In tandem with the food and service, The Egg has no redeeming qualities.

This has become a Saturday ritual. Great service, good food. The waitresses already know what we are going to order❤️
