Absolutely one of the best pizzas in the area–we took it takeout from the side that’s more like a grab-and-go pizza place but did notice they have a more restaurant-like space as well. Nice staff. Place is a bit run-down on the whole. Very reasonable prices. At some point I want to go back to check out their other food as well.

We just had the pleasure of eating at Il Giardino. I called The owner, Lilo and was able to book their dining room for our family after we had the services for our Mother. He was so caring and patient with our every need. We ran late at the cemetery and when I called him very stressed out he immediately put us at ease and said “take your time…the room is ready for you whenever you get here”. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and shortly after all the delicious appetizers started coming out. Hot and amazing…we couldn’t get over the amount of food and the quality was top notch. Every time you turned around someone was refilling your coffee, water or asking if you needed anything else. We then had penne vodka and many of us said it was the best we’ve ever had. A fresh salad followed and then the entrees started coming out.

I didn’t give it 5 stars only because this was our first visit. I got takeout and it was delicious. The staff was courteous and helpful. It looks like a pizzeria but it is a restaurant. We ordered shrimp scampi and a special stuffed fillet of soul: fantastic. Plus clams oregenato. These were covered with a wonderful white wine sauce.

The closest version to supermarket/seven 11/ pizza plus cheap can tomato sauce. Any other place is going to be better. Plus, we employees in bad mood, probably underpaid. Avoid this place for pizza at least!

WOW! With the new ownership this has become the best Italian restaurant for miles around. Start with a loaf of the best bread warm, crisp and soft in the center. Add a salad that is included with the meal then select from an incredible array of simply wonderful and decadent entrees that are really inexpensive. i love the fresh fish dishes from the Wild Caught Salmon at $19.50 to the fresh Bronzini picked up that morning in the city – $22.00. My husband loves the chicken dishes where the sauces are mouth-watering and taste as good as any he has ever had. His favorite is the Tuscany Chicken – $16.50 that is grilled chicken breast with mozzarella and tomato in a superb butter and cheese sauce. Finish with one of their excellent deserts and then when the owner brings you his surprise “Holy Water” at the end of the meal you will know what an Italian feast is supposed to be. All for less than $30 with tax and tip. WOW. Do not wait to try this place because once the word gets out you will have to wait in line. I promise!

I have been here 4 times in the last 4 months. The dinners are outstanding. A bunch of specials every night. I mean every night! They are open 7 days a week. Nice dining room adjacent to the Pizzeria, separated with its own room. You dont sit in the Pizzeria portion. Speaking of Pizza, that is very good too. Thin but not too thin. Just the way I like it. Its BYOB too. The staff is great. This is my favorite place in town for good Italian. Cousins in Norwood is very good too, I like it here just a little more. Parking is around the back. Wine store just a few stores down. Try this place! You will be back.
