We read an online menu and found out about buffet to go. Do not walk in the front door for any to-go orders. The rude lady made that very clear. We went around to the side and got great service. We did find out the price on the online menu was not what we were charged. The food tasted good and we sat in the parking lot eating it. Everything had good flavor and was the appropriate temperature. If I ever go out that way again, that will definitely be a place I would like to try again, take-out though, not the restaurant.

It was lunchtime and it was packed not a very big place inside but really not that many restaurants in prosperity to begin with when we walked in 4 tables were dirty so we had to wait to be seated . It’s buffet the food was ok not great the so called fried okra was gross along with the mustard sauce the hash was to runny hash should be thick but they have other stuff the chicken livers was great chicken was good also 12.00$ meal

This was our first visit and it was delicious! The fried chicken was moist and tasty, the homemade rice and hash was heavenly and the ribs were meaty and delicious! All the vegetables were very good as well. Great collard greens, homemade mac and cheese, greens beans, black eye peas. The salad bar looked delicious and fresh but we passed on a salad. Hostess Allison and server Brandi were very nice and friendly and took great care of us. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

Hawg Heaven has upped their game, better than before and rivaling that fine establishment in Batesburg. I used to visit Hawg Heaven quite frequently years ago but gave it up after some management change or other event. The food after the change tasted strait warmed out of the can and the BBQ no more than roasted pork.

Sent my husband to pick up a to go order which I ordered chicken rice n gravy green beans and I asked them how much for a side Mac n cheese he said $1.35 okay great I said. Why did they send me 2ozs of Mac n cheese not even a table spoon and it wasn’t even good. This place is the worst
