Very inconsistent. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Smaller portions lately and much higher prices. Last regular roast beef 3-way had hardly any beef and three times more bread than roast beef. $10 for this?

Overall the experience was bad. The customer service was unfriendly and rude. It was more of a fast food restaurant and they served food on paper plates. The food was mediocre at best. It was way to expensive for the experience would never return. While waking in we noticed that the entire restaurant smelt weird. The bathroom was unsanitary and it smelled like a porta potty.

Loved their tarter sauce and coleslaw. Their coleslaw is different than the usual, heavy stuff you get at other places. This coleslaw looks way more fresh and has a lighter type of dressing, different but still good. Their tarter sauce is different than the usual stuff as well and better. Maybe both of these things are better than the usual because they’re made fresh here? That’s how it seemed anyway

(needs more A/C) – Friend and I went today for excellent lunch. He had the combo seafood plate and I the flounder with onion rings. NO COMPLAINTS. EXCELLENT simple (no-mayonnaise) slaw – – – tasty, fresh – – no carrots, raisins, or other items to DETRACT from the wonderful slaw itself. Onion rings light and crispy – – not frozen. Friendly staff, busy place. We shall go again.

Great spot for dine in or takeout in Peabody. My friends and I had a massive order and we were pleased that it only took 10 minutes for it to be ready. The roast beef used on the sandwiches is tender, and they use just the right amount of sauce. Consider a pizza roll or a hot dog as a side and don’t forget the fries! If you’re looking for a classic north shore roast beef, look no further

This place gets rave reviews, but it was lacking for me. The portions were great for the clam strip dinner, but my husband felt a bit let down with his haddock.

Consistently good, fresh roast beef. Fried seafood tastes great, not like old oil. Love the staff, I have been going there for years, as has most of my family, and they know my voice on the phone. What more could you ask?

We were visiting the area and came here for fried clams on the recommendation of locals were seriously disappointed. The fries were good, the clams were tasteless, and the cole slaw was inedible. . My wife ordered a chocolate milkshake that was virtually undrinkable. For a fried clam platter, a clam strips platter, a soda and a milkshake, the bill the a touch under $60.00 for meh food in a fast food place. If you’re looking for genuine New England fried clams, try someplace else.

Good portions, very reasonably priced, and the lady at the front counter was super nice and helpful! While waiting I decided I wanted to add a few things and she kept the stuff I previously ordered in the warmer so it’d stay hot! Couldn’t wait until I got home to start munching!
