We ended up here accidentally!!! So glad we did… My Grandma, daughter, & I were visiting family in Lapeer on Sunday August 13th. While we were heading to Sonic to snag some food, I got confused by the construction and stayed on 69 E instead of getting off at M-24. I figured I could get off of the exit and turn around… well that didn’t happen because of the highway being redone so we had to stay on the expressway until Imlay City. I decided that we wouldn’t let our trip there go to waste so we decided to eat while we were there & scrap the Sonic idea.

Absolutely one of our favorite local places (and owned by a local woman!! Love it!) The food is amazing. Super reasonable prices!! Love that they added a pool table recently and there are so many events here, there’s absolutely something for everyone. The only reason I couldn’t give five stars across-the-board is because previous servers here were less than stellar, although I don’t think they are there anymore. We love JP’s!!

Had a patty melt with fries. The burger was delicious however, the bread was a little too greasy. The fries were delicious. The atmosphere was good and clean though not fancy and the service was fast and friendly.

I had a chicken quasadilla. It had no flavor to it. I don’t think they added any spices. The Reuben sandwich was sub-par. We sent back the biscuits and gravy because it was so salty it was un edible. The atmosphere was great, and the server and staff were great. I’d go back for a beer maybe.

Made the drive from Flint to try this place out. Nice and roomy parking lot and interior. It was about half full on a cold dreary day. Typical Michigan March day. Waitress greeted me and said sit where you like. Sat down and ordered a diet Coke. Scanned the menu and was in the mood for Buffalo wings. Spotted Trents Buffalo Chicken Pita. Yup, that fills the bill. Ordered that and some jalapeño poppers. Kitchen was sending stuff out ta a pretty good clip and folks were comin and goin at a good pace. Took about 10 minutes for my Pita. It was really good. Right amount of Chicken and not too heavy on either the Buffalo sauce or Bleu cheese. Good balance. Of course, I burned the roof of my mouth on the poppers. They really didn’t *look* that hot…. but my fault. Not enough Ranch dip on it. Waitress was just right. Checked in a couple times, filled up my pop, and checkout was easy. All in all a really.good experience.

The taco salad is amazing, the fried mushrooms are hand battered and huge, the Bloody Mary is a meal in itself and is so flavorful and good! Waitress was very nice and quick!
