I got the 2 meat (1 tips, 1 pulled pork [pic below]), 3 meat, half smoke chicken, and pork steak. Tips were meaty and tender. Pork was good too. Good sized half chicken and pork steak. The sides are put in spill reducing containers. The sides were ok, hubby liked the black eye peas. The yams and greens were not fresh but they were doctor’d up pretty good. The half smoke chicken never got to the table since hubby since he stood the whole time while eating it, so I’m guessing it was good. You can have it sauced or dry and on the side. All in all, I will visit again. I have visited 3 time. Containers for a little ruffed up by no means the fault of the business.

The brisket was tender and well cooked with an unfortunately underwhelming cheap white bread. The BBQ sauce was a good compliment to everything. Had relativity plain green beans and a very good friend corn cob for sides. Their dining room is blocked off so takeout only. The lady behind the counter really struggled with basic questions about the food. Overall it’s ok.

The staff is very nice and greets you warmly with a smile. I tried the pork steak and the catfish. Both were excellent! They have a nice menu of items to choose from. Operating as a “carry out” only due to staffing issues (12/2021).

My family got dinner here and all of us were left completely satisfied and tastebuds happy. I had the loaded potato with brisket. The brisket was super tender and tasty. I loved the barbecue sauce. I’m always hesitant when getting greens from a barbecue spot, but Ms. Piggies did not disappoint. I enjoyed all of the food. I tried the pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwich that my children got. That was delicious as well. Try Ms. Piggies!

I’m mad at Ms Piggies! I feel like they should have called me personally to lmk they are only 4 minutes from where I live. jk! Clients wanted that for a lunch and learn I was doing. Saw the BBQ sign many times but never stopped by. HAD I KNOWN THEY SELL SOME FIRE SOUL FOOD…I would have BEEN going there. That food made me mad it was gone after I ate it. Collards, yams, black eye peas, etc etc. Really y’all?? Then my clients said on Sundays they have some FIRE Mac n chz. Can we put BBQ/Soul Food on the outdoor sign?? Oh and the lady at the service counter was excellent.

After reading a few reviews of the food being good I was so disappointed. If I’m being honest the restaurant look somewhat clean from what I could see in the lobby look like the cook was wearing gloves n again the kitchen area looked clean. I ordered rib tips which had absolutely no seasoning none no flavor it was also extremely dry so dry it was hard to get down no smokey flavor at all I ask for my sauce on the side but it taste like tomato paste n brown sugar that’s it no flavor I will never go back I drove almost 35 minutes to go here.

This place is the best St. Louis style barbecue in the city and surrounding area! Ribs are amazing – get there before they sell out! The sauce is also my favorite. Happy to find out I can pick it up in Schnucks now.
