The place is Not attractive at all but that doesn’t always mean the food is bad. So I tried it. The food does seem good. But because of the cleanliness it has destroyed the reputation they had with me. Noway I will go back after the biggest roach ever was found in the bottom cup of barbecue sauce. The sick part was we saw what seem like a little black fiber we pulled on it and then freaked out. I still can’t get it out of my mind. Pure Disgusting. I have a pic. I have Not been back. Will Not go back. The store needs to be evaluated and inspected. ASAP.

I’ve eaten here before, many years ago. It was so much better. Today I had a bad experience. Ordered two chipped beef sandwiches, I wanted a link but they don’t sell it seperate. So I ordered a quarter pound, turns out its sausage. Two sides. Got asked if I wanted sauce on my sandwich and said no I’ll take it on the side. So I got charged for a side of sauce because she thought I wanted two sides of sauce. Twenty dollars for this little bit of food. Oh and I only got one small sandwich. The 2 stars are because the food wasn’t bad just room temperature.

This barbecue was horrible . Literally after eating just a small bit of there food my husband got sick and threw up . Meat was so dry bread was falling apart like it had not been stored properly. Worst barbecue experience we have ever had !!!!! I guess that’s what you get when it’s the only few options for a small town . I would take pride in my food and make it to the best of my ability for my community to love it and enjoy . But this place needs alot of work .

The brisket was very dry and tough and had no smoky flavor. Had to bathe it in bbq sauce which was good. Pinto beans were flavorless and really pale looking. Cajun veggies were awesome!

I had the 2 meat combo platter with turkey and link sausage. The meat was very tasty and not over smoked, like you tend to see at BBQ joints around here. The turkey was very tender, and the sauce they use is very good. My sides were fries and baked beans. The beans were very good, but the fries were just standard frozen fries. Not that it’s a bad thing, just not great either. My friend for the hamburger steak which was one of the best I’ve ever tasted, and the potato salad she got was very good. All in all a great experience and would go again soon.
