Had the best Horchata of my life here! Their signature seafood dish served in a half pineapple was beautifully prepared and on a neat platter, but was under seasoned. Free chips and salsa were some of the best I’ve ever had. Some items, specifically lobster ($60+) and red snapper ($30+) are extremely over-priced for a casual dining establishment.

Wow! I had the opportunity to enjoy some delicious dishes. The prices are moderate compared to the amount of food you get and selection of dishes you have to choose from. Invite your family and friends because these are plates meant to share and experience! Next time I go, I’ll try the lobster !!

New Tampa has a new best Latin spot! This tiny restaurant tucked in a Publix-anchored shopping center (is there any other kind in the ‘burbs?) is worth looking for. On our first visit (tonight) we went in with no expectations and walked out very happy indeed. Our lovely server promptly welcomed us with a tuna ceviche that was fresh and light, served with chopped tomatoes and cucumbers, a crisp tostada shell and one definitely incendiary sauce-go easy on the verde until you know what you’re dealing with! The red was milder but flavorful. We opted for tacos from the ala carte menu as we’d just consumed too much popcorn st the movies and had no room for rice, beans, etc. The tacos arrived quickly and without anything fancy-meat or fish in soft-shell corn tortillas, cilantro and onions. That’s it! No lettuce or tomatoes or Taco Bell cheese! Just fresh tortillas, tender, flavorful protein and the cilantro, onions and squeeze of lime juice to make it taste even fresher. We each had the pescador-small bits of a well-seasoned white fish-and I had my favorite, carnitas while my husband enjoyed pollo. Both were tender, flavorful and just enough. A variety of hot sauces are available on the table and a squirt bottle of an avocado cream comes with the service. Very good! Very good indeed.

Omgoodness AMAZING Mexican food… great flavor, fast service, fresh tortillas with fresh salsa verde and pica sauce. Sooo much for 30.00$ I couldn’t finish it at all.

This place is amazing! My new favorite. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, Mexican restaurant in the Tampa Bay area. Super authentic and delicious food, and they serve things that are not as easy to get at most Mexican restaurants around here. I have spent a lot of time in Mexico and often crave the amazing food that I remember but can never find here in the states.

Good food is comparable to some of the other mexican ones in the area. The food is good, but seemed to take a bit longer to make than expected. Service was relatively prompt. The place had a more family-style feel to it which is a nice variation. Comparatively, I’d say the food is a bit pricier here for some items, but there some good deals on the simpler things like tacos and burritos. There are also definitely some more novel dishes available here. Place doesn’t quite fit larger parties, but a small family will be more than comfortable here. Will definitely come back some time!
