this has been a favorite of my parents for many years. I got a take out dinner which was my first meal from this place. everyone was very friendly and professional and hard-working. they take a lot of pride in this place and it shows. I got the beef and noodles and it was a fantastic meal. dessert was a pistachio pudding type cake. it was much healthier than most of the sugary type pudding desserts I am used to so it wasn’t as enjoyable just because I’m not used to eating real home-made gourmet desserts. I see myself eating here regularly from now on. EDIT: Got fantastic enchilada there today. $5.50 well worth it. I’m not sure if the salsa was homemade but everything else was. forgot to ask. try the beef sticks!

My first visit to this place and I hope to get back there soon to try more f their food. I had the muffuletta sandwich. It completely filled a styrofoam takeout container! Cost $8.95!! It was delicious. Next time I would ask them to cut it in half or into quarters to make eating it easier. My husband had the roast beef sub and it was also huge and tasty. I enjoyed the vintage atmosphere. Interesting and unique local products are offered for sale: mustards, hot sauces, pickled products. The menu has many tantalizing options and the prices are super reasonable. Prepackaged to go meals and deli salads are available along with raw brats and various cuts of meat. There is a lovely park across the street with picnic tables so you can enjoy your food while you commune with nature.

I love this shop! The meats are very high quality, and sensibly priced. They are very willing to please and almost always accommodate my special requests. I tell everyone about Sausage Haus, and hope they are there forever! I’ve heard their takeout food is awesome, but I generally just buy fresh meat, and have often used their catering.

This place is like a trip back in time to an old style butcher shop. But it’s not really a full butcher shop, more like a specialty butcher shop. The products have all been delicious. Love the brats. Bring cash…they don’t take credit cards.

This place is AMAZING! I treated 2 friends to their amazing lg tacos and since I was there I bought some bacon for today’s breakfast and my friend bought some cheese and pepper brats. I used to live in Oconomowoc and would stop often, now it’s a treat when I make the trip. The prices are really affordable. Most friendly owner’s/workers I’ve met.
