I’m giving this restaurant a 1 star review for a specific reason (and not that there is no view of the lake). We were passing through yesterday on a cross country trip. We met friends there we had not seen in quite a while. We arrived at 7:15 pm and the restaurant closes at 9:00. We had 4 meals- total bill around $55 for the 4 of us. We wanted to fill our thermos with coffee before heading down the road. They offered to make a fresh pot and we were thrilled! Until we got the bill for that COFFEE which was TWELVE DOLLARS plus tax. We questioned why so much and they stated that it was at least 6 cups of coffee at $2 each. Had we sat there and drank that coffee, it would have been $4 (only 2 of us drank the coffee) and then free refills. What a shame. We didn’t even dirty any coffee cups! PS the food was ok.

Incredible well run family restaurant. Mexican skillet was amazing and enough for two people. Very busy on a Sunday morning and the service was fast, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend! A rare treasure.

I recently visited Lakeview Family Restaurant and I had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere and the skillet was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and a welcoming atmosphere.

These people are great. The workers are dedicated and hold very well against the rush hour. The food is exactly what you hope for (albeit somewhat greasy, but what isn’t?) and the energy of the place is very warm and welcoming. My only gripe would be that there’s no booths, but it’s understandable, given the size.

This restaurant takes over from the former Farm House restaurant. Now in it’s 5th month of being open to I was finally able to go inside. Very nice atmosphere warm greeting staff and the owner who frequently walks the restaurant make this a relaxing place and make you feel welcome. I ordered a special off the offered choices instead of diving into the menu which had many more options. The food came in a relatively fast time nice and hot and tasted as good as it looked. Not disappointed at. I will be back and tackle the menu next.
