Online ordering now available directly from our website! Our very first Portofino’s Restaurant was opened on Eastway Drive in Charlotte in 1996. Later, Portofino’s on Park Road opened, followed by Portofino’s at the Arboretum. Portofino’s Indian Land opened in May 2018.

This place is amazing! I discovered it and went for lunch twice in a week! Food is delicious and the service is fast and very friendly. I had the Shrimp parmigiana then the salmon piccata with raspberry cheesecake dessert all very delicious. I highly recommend if you enjoy Italian.

Thanks to Sam and his crew we had a very enjoyable birthday dinner. First off we got a reservation for a party of 11 on a Saturday night without any problem. We had a great table that accommodated our party. We ordered a variety of dishes and people sampled each others plates and the comments about the food was all good. The staff was very attentive checking our needs frequently enough to not be bothersome. We were able to eat a wonderful meal and have great conversation in a lovely atmosphere. Definitely will be back again.

I went there tonight and ordered the $20 shrimp parmigiana with linguine. I asked for Alfredo sauce on my linguine instead of marinara. I expected to pay the $3.00 up charge, but they also added a $3.50 fee for the linguine that came with the meal. So my $24 new ended up being nearly $28! The waiter and manager went back and forth with me and wouldn’t remove the fee. I paid it, but I will probably never step foot in that place again. I’ve been eating there since it opened in 2001! It’s more about the principle of the matter than the $3.50. Management could have simply removed it and called it a night.

Outstanding Restaurant! Had Veal Parm (I asked for heavy sauce) for lunch with pasta. Sauce was great, cheese spot on, and the veal was very flavorful too.

My husband and I were out on a dinner date and he chose Portofino’s restaurant. It was our first time dining here. Out experience was a bit interesting at first with the hostess. We requested a booth, but there was not one available for 25 minutes. We were ok with the first available table or booth. We just didn’t want to sit directly at the front door with the continuous flowing draft since we were both just getting over being sick. The hostess apparently misunderstood our request. Moving forward, our first impression was changed once our waitress Val took over. Val was very friendly, professional, and attentive to our table. We took her up on her food and drink recommendations. We ordered, garlic bread w/ parm for appetizer. Our meals were The Taste of Italy and Shrimp and scallop pasta. All of the food was amazing. It was fresh, piping hot and very flavorful. The food portions were hefty. The Italian Job cocktail was a good job for me..Lol, I couldn’t finish it all. The water was very refreshing and Val did not disappoint with her customer service.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday with 22 family and friends. Totally enjoyed everything we ate at Portofinos. The shrimp scampi was awesome. I added the pink vodka sauce and ate until I was full as a tick at a dog show!!! Going back again today!!! This is our family’s new favorite Italian spot.
