Vinny needs to expand . He’s got a following . His busser did not show and he was out bidding tables and talking to guests . I’m always impressed and respect hand on owners as I used to own my own business and was always visible to my customers and available.

Finding this little gem in the south is amazing. They have pork roll and scrapple. They won my heart with the food. The staff was very friendly and even the owner came over to check on us and he told us a good story about the history of the menu. Overall I would come here again. My only complaint would be that there’s to much amazing food on the plate and I couldn’t finish it all.

Great place to go, can’t beat the breakfast special. Vinny is a super nice guy as is the rest of the staff but it really feels good when the owner takes the time to come around and chat with you. I’ll definitely be going back here, I just wish I could go some during the week but I work on the opposite side of town so I guess I’ll have to be a Saturday guy for now.

If you want a taste of South Street, Philly, visit Vinny! His breakfasts are big and good, with scrapple and pork roll if you like and really good home fries and pancakes. But his cheese steaks, meatballs, sausage, and Italian pork or roast beef hoagies make my mouth water as I type. The rolls are the best, and his desserts/cookies are perfect. If you go, check out all the pictures on the walls. But his food will take you right back to Philly, and his staff members are exceptional. Hours are limited, so plan ahead!

Arriving at 7:30, we were never greeted or acknowledged. Elitest couple walked past our small group and past sign reading “Wait to be seated” to grab a table. Poorest customer service received in this friendly community. After a 15 min wait, we left and went to Springhouse Family Restaurant which was outstanding!
