A hard working family, that’s committed to the local community owns and operates this Springfield Big Town Hero. It’s just as much of a pleasure to talk with Troy and his lovely family as it is to munch their delicious sandwiches, devour way to many, but well worth it chocolate chip cookies and wash it all down with an assortment of thirst Quenching Pepsi Products. If you can’t tell by now I highly recommend this establishment and break the rules publicly by rating it with 10, count em 10 freaking stars!!!!

This afternoon at about 3:15 pm, I picked up a large Rueben sandwich on white bread to split with my wife at home. When I got home and unwrapped the sandwich – it was disappointing. For the $9.40 (plus $2.00 tip – given when I ordered), total of $11.40, this sandwich lacked enough filling contents, specially in pastrami and sauerkraut.

This was one of my favorite places when I lived in the area. I have been craving it for the last 3 years and when we flew in from Texas we had to stop to get a sandwich. All the locations in Eugene have been shut down so we came to this location. The crew was great, the sandwich was exactly what I wanted and I left with my 3 year craving cured!

Husband and I stopped in and had the most delightful experience. The order was taken quickly and we didn’t have to wait long before it was brought to our table and we both were pleasantly treated to sandwiches made how they are intended to be made. You could taste the savory meat and crunch of the lettuce and the juice of the tomato and it was the best I have had it sooo long. Everyone, and there were quite a few, were equally satisfied as we were. The only person taking orders, making sandwiches and cleaning tables was one guy, a young guy named Aaron. Very good manners and we had great admiration for his work effort. You don’t see many Aaron’s and we appreciate him and wish there were more just like him.

This Sub shop receives 5 stars. Easy to find Location, Very Clean establishment, Friendly staff, Was a one man operation during the time I went but he was very quick, took the orders and made the orders and was Friedly. I have been to other competitor locations that had more staff than one and had terrible staff and not friendly High Five to the Big Town Hero Crew Member “Good Service” Fantastic Sub!! I will be back
