Cafe Habana City is such a gem in Lafayette! Always delicious and decent portion size. They used to host Latin dance nights as well, but I’m not sure they’re doing those anymore. Overall, great food and great vibe. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and my favorite is the ropa vieja.

Cuban comfort food. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I had Cuban food this good. I had Pollo a la barbacoa, maduritos, and frijoles negros. Also, a Bumbu mojito and tres leches to go. This place is 2 miles from where I’m staying, so I will definitely be back. Please do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic service and quick too. The food was delicious and very thankful to the waitress who helped us make some decisions. Got the beef croquettes and maripositas for starters. Both delicious and filling. We then got some quick sandwiches – the Media Noche is so amazing.

Hi! Customer service wasn’t the best. I am a “ropa vieja” (shredded beef stew) lover and that’s a cuban dish. I purchased one and the flavor was average, not bad but I was expecting something better. I felt a little disappointed but wishing all the best for this business and their owners.

Highly recommended spot in Lafayette. The platos combinaciones are a great way to sample more of the Cuban deliciousness. The bartender was awesome on my visit. Very attentive while I waited for my to go Habana Mix plate order.

Love this place! I’m a huge fane of Cuban Sandwiches and this place has one of the best I’ve had. I find it to be very traditional. You can taste the pork roast, ham, pickles and mustard with every crunchy bite of the fabulous pressed bread. The pork roast is outstanding. I’ve had both Maduritos and Yuca Frita for sides. Both are are excellent. We always end our meals with a cup of their Cuban coffee.
