We are long time customers of Dickey’s – all the way back to the Grand Opening of this store. But times change and so do business strategies I guess. We still enjoy the food, but starting now will be guests at Bird Dog BBQ. Both the male and female staff members there today seem like the most unhappy and uncaring people we have ever met. Although they greet customers, they appear like robots, never smiling, unfriendly, and show a uncaring attitude. We hardly got both feet in the front door and the male shouts at us: Is this for here or to go? And I have to remind the cash register gal about the drink that comes with my meal, and then I get the stink-eye because I did not add any tip to my credit card purchase. These 2 employees exude a sentiment of hating their job and do not appear friendly at all. To top it off, the ice cream machine was removed. Dickey’s is going downhill fast. Even the catering van parked out in the parking lot for advertising bears completely sun faded paint, as if it is ready for the scrap metal yard. Dickey’s Corporate folks can’t be very proud of this store. We sure aren’t and we won’t be back again.

It’s so rare to come into a fast food style place like this and have such a pleasant interaction with the staff working here. Food was prepared quickly, and tasted great. Kudos to the young man working the register this afternoon, he deserves a raise.

EwwwwwwwEEEE!!! Right on CUE!!! I love their menu! Brisket, pulled pork, sausage, chicken you name it!! The sides are also delicious!! Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans… you name it! And let’s don’t forget the sweet tea!! OMG! The only word that comes this restaurant is “YUM”!! They have locations all over the country! This location has great service and is very clean. In addition it’s located just minutes away from the well known gigantic rock formations known as “THE GARDEN OF THE GODS”. Great location… terrific BBQ

Staff was very friendly & professional. To be honest we went here b/ Rudy’s BBQ was an hour wait ( mothers day). I was really wanting BBQ but was slightly disappointed by the food here. Ordered brisket and chicken plate. Non of the food had any BBQ or smokey taste to it. The brisket reminded us of crock pot roast beef. The chicken was meh. And the bread was like biting into a sponge. I hate to say it, but I won’t ever go back

Shame on you guys you take one of the best barbecue places and run it into the ground your food is stale I saw an employee behind the counter picking up French fries of of the dirty counter and put them in a bag and deliver them to a customer sitting in the dining area. When I confronted him about it he told me my hands are clean,even if your hands were clean your dirty counter wasn’t!! The quality of food that comes out of this location is horrible. You can tell the employees hate working there by the way they great there customers. They overcharge for old food. You can tell nothing is anywhere near being fresh. This is the worst location to visit. FAIR WARNING ⚠️ STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT GOOD FOOD ITS NOT AT THIS LOCATION. What a shame you took a very good barbecue favorite of mine and ruined it!

We haven’t been to Dickies BBQ in awhile so we thought we’d stop by. They were not busy when we got there. So we got to order right away. We ordered our meats. Then our sides. They discontinued several of our sides, but that was OK we still had enough to choose from and we order a couple things we hadn’t tried before like the green beans and potatoe salad. I kinda hate green beans. But I must say I liked Dickies green beans. They were actually really good. Everyone at home was happy and full after our meal. And there were leftovers so my son gets to take a sandwich for his lunch tomorrow. And oh when we were leaving they were getting busy. Thank you Dickies.

I ordered thru Uber Eats. My first time trying Dickey’s in all of the many years I have been in El Paso County{always did Rudy’s just because I live on this side of town with no transportation} But thanks to Uber Eats I was able to try Dickey’s out. The food was awesome! I would have liked to have a bit more sauce but next time will just order extra & the side salad could have been a bit bigger. They were out of Onion Tanglers & Beef Brisket Burnt ends but as it was X-mas Eve I can understand. Was very good about having Uber Eats call me to have me call store about what to replace for the items they were out of. Was able to get Pork Brisket Burnt ends & Okra in place. I live almost 7 miles away & order was delivered

The food is tasty, but they are light on portions. I bought the giant 3 meat plate thinking that my $20 would be well spent and I would get 2 meals out of it. I got 3 tiny portions of meat and 2 small sides. Definitely not worth it. Bird Dog is just down the street and I will have to remember that the next time. Oh, well. They were trying to close at 7:30. Maybe they were out of food and didn’t want to say anything thinking I wouldn’t notice. Yes, the pictures are really all I got for $20.
