So disappointing. The decor is the highlight of the experience with booths arranged and partitioned to give a sense of privacy and intimacy.

Stopped by for a quick drink while I was waiting to pick up our to-go order. We’ve noticed that Kenichi always looks full every night, so we wanted to try the food out. The sushi did not disappoint, neither did the service while I was waiting to pick up!

The best Japanese food I’ve ever had! In the mountains, there are not that many restaurants to choose from that are Japanese, but this was easily one of the best meals I had while traveling. The restaurant is in a small village community called Snowmass; the area is mostly residential buildings compared to Aspen or Vail, which have much more attractions. The food was made perfectly and placed well as well. The Wagyu Tataki was absolutely delicious and beautiful. Sushi was the best we ever had as well, with favorites like Dynamo, Austin, and Blake. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone of all ages and tastes.

I had an amazing experience at Kenichi. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming with traditional Japanese decor and soft lighting. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Adams & Hanna were the best! For food, I ordered the Pineapple Teriyaki Kushiyaki Chicken & Tempura Shrimp. It was delicious. I highly recommend Kenichi for anyone looking for delicious Japanese cuisine and a cozy atmosphere.

Terrible experience. We’ve visited Kenichi Aspen for years. Overall the experience including the food here was below average, which for the price is just unacceptable. It’s not that we consider it expensive but for many it would be. Our group was eating and decided on some more items around 9:15 for our server who finally checked on us at 9:32 and told us we could not order anything else because they have a “hard close” on the kitchen at 9:30. Guess what?! I’ll be spreading the word far beyond Google regarding this experience. We’re part time Snowmass locals with plenty of reach in the community who would consider eating at your restaurant.

Honestly this place looked really good on open table and my girlfriend and I decided to give it a try. Food is what you typically expect from a sushi place.. you are not going to get some life changing dish here. You’re easily spending $100+ per person and it’s just not worth it. The worst part about my experience is that we were sat at 9pm for dinner and told at 9:27pm that last call would be in 3 minutes. Doesn’t really give us much time to decide if we want more. Our server Elizabeth was also busy on her phone for the majority of our dining experience. She didn’t ask if we were enjoying our food or if we needed anything else after we made our initial order. Not for anything if I’m spending $100+ for sushi I can get for $20 at home I expect much better service

Elizabeth and the Chef were amazing! Unfortunately we didn’t get all of our meal, in pictures, just dessert and dessert cocktails. We had combinations of 4 different rolls, all were amazing!

One of my worst sushi experience. The portions were small and expensive for low quality sushi. Beware of the gratuity fee that they charge for a take out order and their terrible service.

The food is really good, ambiance is nice and it is in a great spot in Snowmass village. However it is way overpriced (even considering Aspen/Snowmass pricing). I paid over 400$ for a family of four ! (2 alcoholic drinks, 2 sodas, 3-4 appetizers, sushi and 2 tiny desserts). The Mega Salmon roll was the best. Service was ok.

This is one of the best restaurants in Snowmass. The service is great, the atmosphere is lively, and the Sushi is top notch. Be sure to make reservations.
