Ward’s Catfish Hole in Hot Springs is WONDERFUL! We went on a Thursday night, and even though Wards is not on a ‘main drag’, and we were there in the ‘off-season’ for Hot Springs, we were impressed the parking lot was FULL! We already knew the food would be great when all the locals and the work crews from the area are present!

This place was a goldmine to find for food the flavor really came thru! The service was absolutely wonderful. We loved it so much we went back twice. Both times did not disappoint. Just super sad they ran out of those amazing Alligator bites. If you stop in, it’s a must try. From the pasta, crab, shrimp, meat pies, corn, oysters, jalapeños poppers, poboy crayfish sandwich, froglegs, catfish, and salad, nothing was a disappointment. We had to try just about everything. It’s worth the drive if it’s out of your way. Staff was ALL super friendly.

My family came here for dinner and they were slammed. The service was still good even when busy. The food was fantastic!! The waitress brought out one wrong plate of food, but took ownership, very humbly apologizing and corrected it. We all enjoyed this place and when we come back to town will visit again. It is better than Fisherman’s Wharf which we will not go back to.

Best crawfish in Arkansas! Their fried pies are definitely worth trying too. Even if you don’t have room bc you’re so full, take one to go!! That homemade icing is delicious.

Absolutely the worst place I have ever eaten. I am writing this from my toilet with what I believe to be oncoming food poisoning. I should have trusted my gut when I saw that blonde headed woman eating in the prep area & the other lady filling to-go cups of cheese with her bare hands. No gloves seen the whole time.

Didn’t know segregation still existed in 2023. I was seated in a room away from people who weren’t my color, with NO AC‼️ There were only 8 people in TOTAL in the front dining area so there was no reason my family should have been seated in the back room away from others. Highly disappointed ‼️ If you are like me ( African American ) I would not recommend eating here. Be blessed!

Coming from the restaurant industry I understand places have off nights. After an hour wait we got seated but not before I had to ask the very polite bartender if we where going to be seated. We got sat waited patiently, didn’t raise a fuss just waited. A hard working employee was able to get some menus. The menu looked good, ready to order, and we still waited. One of the waitresses looked like she was taking care of all the parties. Again being in the restaurant industry for 16 years I was ok with waiting a little bit longer if that was the issue. A 3 top walked in and got menus, and usually that’s when I start my clock. One minute and fourteen second later, and the waitress I assumed who taking care of the parties started taking care of those other customers before my 5 top. The only person who acknowledged our existence was the bus boy and the bartender. Maybe it’s because I had on my LSU shirt and this being Hog country they don’t take kindly to my kind around here. I just hope they take care of other customers better going forward. Who ever the brunette bartender was that night. I appreciate you!
