Extremely generous portions with a generous amount of flavor. Great lunch spot. Local gem wedged next to a beautiful lake. Subs are just as wonderful as the pizza. Garlic knots are a must!

I was riding by and had seen this humble pizza/ sub spot that I knew was a quiet little hit. I walked into a diner-like comfort full of that nostalgic aroma and I can tell you that’s my JAM since I’m new to the area. So we really like Mount Dora Pizza and Sub or Luigis are our usual go to for pizza. Always very consistent the best 2 New York style Pizza in the area that being said we had heard good things about El Marie. Decided to give it a try. Very glad we did service was very good. We hot a small antipasto salad and split it enormous portion and very good. We also got a large half cheese and half meat lovers Pizza . Dough and crust were very good. Sauce and cheese also very tasty. Now we have a third favorite Pizza place.

Our first time today; my son (teenager) and I really enjoyed it. The food was delicious. I got the Turkey and Swiss sub and my son got the cheese pizza. The service was awesome too. We’ll definitely be back! Kicking ourselves for not trying this sooner!!

It was good food. Definite value for your money. Service is outstanding. The pizza was a little too wet for my taste. The garlic knots were outstanding. I can’t recommend the potato salad in good conscience. Overall I would give it a 3.5 star rating.

We stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and boy were we glad we did! This little restaurant was awesome!! So clean, our waitress was super attentive and nice, and our food was great! We got the special which was roast beef sliders and meatball sliders. Then we topped it off with a slice of lemoncello cake – yummy!!! Not a ton of indoor seating but plenty outside. You must check it out!
