Had an incredible lunch at Konnochiwa Sushi & Bar! Delicious fish, we had the Las Vegas roll, Cutie Pie Roll, Volcano Roll, and the 15 piece sashimi chefs choice. Everything on the menu looked great, excited to return in the future. We sat outside which is dog friendly, and the service was very quick and friendly. Really cute downtown to walk around in, highly recommend!

I usually don’t leave negative reviews but due to the lack of follow up and resolution to the issue, customers should know. We have been coming to this place since we moved to SD 3 years ago. We love Friday’s during the farmers market to people watch. The service and food has always been awesome. Large portions, tasty and good prices. However, I did a take out order a couple weeks ago for a beach picnic with my husband.

A little disappointed that their website menu prices did not reflect the actual prices of the menu. Happy hour sushi -which is what we came for- said 9.95 online but it was 13.95 on the menu. Sushi was good, but would not pay full price. Good location to grab some food/drink during the Thursday night car show/music!

Consistently delicious and fresh! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, or with their specials. We usually order a roll or two and the salmon plate. Generous portions, cooked to perfection, great vegetable medley. My friend from the Islands loves their sashimi. It’s one of our favorite places!

Absolutely delicious. The Lemon Drop roll is a huge roll and delicious if you aren’t a fan of spicy. The portions are big enough to share for three people. The Bento box was absolutely massive and utterly delicious. Ordered a custom drink and it was amazing. They don’t have a full bar so the service staff made my drink on the fly and it was so good! Very tropical tasting which matched the karaage and sushi perfectly. They only have one women’s bathroom and one men’s but my walker fit in the women’s bathroom with extra room! So an actually accessible bathroom is a HUGE plus. Will definitely be back here.

Kids love this place. We really enjoy sitting out on the sidewalk and watching the world go by. Their sushi is really delicious. They are in the heart of La Mesa Village. Everyone is very friendly.
