Great barbeque pulled pork sandwich!! The atmosphere is fun and relaxing and the service is great. Everyone is very friendly and very attentive. A little pricey but it’s Northern Minnesota, so that’s to be expected. A place to visit once in awhile.

Discovered this gem the first time my wife and I came to the lake. Have visited every single year thereafter. This place is wonderful. Food is top notch and atmosphere is great. Oh and the drinks are fresh and incredible. We are actually in town at the lake now and can’t wait to eat there again!

BEST FOOD in Lakeshore. I have been to this restaurant for every meal option and they never disappoint. I LOVE the avocado toast and whipped coffee for breakfast, the Nashville hot chicken for happy hour with a bloody Maria (that’s tequila for those that don’t know) and the salmon for dinner! The SummerHouse burger is the best in town.

Cute little restaurant with room outside for kids to run around and play giant Jenga, unfortunately it’s not on the lake, you can’t even see a lake which is too bad cause when looking it up I thought it was on or close to the lake.

We live in NYC and come to MN every year to our aunts farm just a stones through from Sunshine’s Summerhouse. We stopped in for lunch and we are hooked. The food is Phenomenal. Everything on the menu is excellent. If you are in the area please do yourself a huge favor and stop in and treat yourself to anything that catches your fancy.

Wish I could show you the Zoodle Primavera with Chicken but it was so good I ate too fast. Everything is delicious. You can’t go wrong. Unique dishes. Nice atmosphere. Great staff. Awesome drinks. One of our favorite. They sell alcohol to go too. Open year round. A must place to eat while you’re in the Brainerd Lakes Area.
