They have horrible customer service didn’t ask how or we doing didn’t tell us about the deals I paid more for one thing gumbo of gumbo then my coworkers got a whole five course meal +gumbo for cheeper then the rice had bugs in it when I said something no one apologized or asked if there’s was anything they could do to help or experience better

Worst chicken & sausage jambalaya I’ve EVER had. The rice was really gummy and clumped together, there was only one piece of sausage in the dish, and the dinner roll looked as if someone had eaten half of it. I’ve been to the Gonzales location in the past and it was alright, but the Prairieville location was a complete waste of time and money. I should have walked out, when another patron was complaining and asking for management about her order of gumbo, and the male cashier was blaming the problem on the girl in the back. This picture does no justice for what i was actually served. This was a total disappointment . The color of the jambalaya didn’t even look right; no way was I going to eat that. Won’t be going there again.

I had a catering order. Well, when I got there, the order wasn’t ready and then when I got to the party; of which the food was being served, I opened the salad container and it was brown. As in very old greens. I was very embarrassed to see this quality of food. Because, the price of their food is not cheap.

This place is awesome. We need one in South Mississippi. I can only speak to the chicken and sausage jambalaya and white beans. But, what I’ve had has been great. Quick service, quick order fulfillment, hot tasty jambalaya. The chicken and sausage are excellently flavored.

I got a serving of Jambalaya and there were only 4 pieces of meat in the container. I called and was told that they portion the meat and that if I wanted more, I could have asked for extra meat for an additional cost

My husband and I arrived and the worker was texting on his phone. The young man never looked up, never asked us to wait, nothing. I thought he was taking an order or something but he was not. After 10 min my husband said, “hey, can we order now?” The guy said yeah- not a what’ll you have-nothing. We ordered 2 bowls (pastalaya & jambalaya)-we didn’t realize they came with sides until a young lady brought out our order and I inquired.. she politely got our sides and we left.

Is this place under new ownership? I love their gumbo and especially their potato salad. Today, not so much. The potato salad did not taste like it normally does and the gumbo had a completely different flavor and zero sausage. Will not be eating here again. Very disappointed.

They have very poor customer service there… I have ordered food multiple times and whoever’s answering the phone is not writing it correctly or something and then when you call back to get your right items they want to act like it’s your fault… and yr spending $60-80 every time they want to charge you more money for what yr missing … get it together jambalaya Shoppe

My first time eating at this place and will never do it again! I ordered 3 meals, gumbo, jambalaya, and red beans and rice. I had one small slither of chicken in my gumbo and 4 slithers of sausage, the rest was juice, and my 6 year old was traumatized because he had 2 LIVE ants crawling around in his plate!!! I was too upset to bring it back so I felt it best just to warn everyone! Do not eat here period! Obviously it isn’t clean nor worth the money. Thank God we pray over our food before we eat! This is actually the one in Gonzales… but judging from the reviews on both Prairieville and Gonzales, they need to be shut down.
