We are a Cheese Shop & Cafe. We offer BYOB with cozy inside seating as well as seating outdoors. We have a wonderful selection of Gourmet Grilled Cheese, Vegetarian or Meat Sandwiches, as well as Artisan Cheese Plates, cold sandwiches and Salads. As a Cheese Shop, we sample, guide you, and cut cheese to order. We can get quite busy at lunchtime, so if you are in a hurry please call in your order ahead of time. See you in the shop.

This was our second visit here. There was plenty of parking. They have a very nice selection of various cheeses. There are also other cheese related items such as meats, chips, crackers, etc. They also have plenty of good tasty sandwiches. We ordered the Mean Mama sandwich to spilt and it was very good. The only issue we had was that the sandwich took 15 minutes to prepare, that seemed like a lot for a to-go sandwich. Other than that, all was very good.

Amazing staff. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable. They always find me a cheese I love based on my very vague description of what I’m looking for. The selection is huge. They also sell pickles, pasta, jam, spreads, olives, and basically anything that could pair with cheese. Go get a grilled cheese and something for your Sunday cheese board. You wont regret it.

Placed my order on the phone for the double nibbler as soon as the shop was open. When I arrived I was greeted by a super friendly staff. The plate was described beautifully and was delicious. Price was very fair for the amount of cheese and meat I received. Would definitely come back!

Great local cheese shop with outstanding selection of cheeses and locally sourced meats for platters and sandwiches. This is the place to go for lunch, charcuterie and cheese platters. As one of the employees stated “we won’t sell it, if it isn’t the best. We have to eat it also” as she laughed. Nothing more true can be said about Madison Cheese Shop.
