Kings has excellent New York style pizza. Staff was professional and friendly. Prices are a little higher than other pizza parlors (about $20 dollars for large New York style cheese pizza), but you can taste the difference.

Well, we were in Berkeley Springs for the day and the owner of a shop there said, ‘I’m a real Italian and I only eat at King’s’ (20 miles away in Hendersonville by our AirBnB). So back we went. I saw their special as I walked in, ‘Mussels, sausage and asparagus.’ I ordered it at the table as a joke and explained to the kids, ‘Specials of the Day are basically just cooks throwing all the old stuff they want to get rid of into a meal. Don’t expect much’. Boy was I wrong! The salads were great as was the house dressing, garlic knots had whole pieces of cooked garlic on top, and the special was actually special 🙂 some of the best asparagus and mussels i’ve ever had, cooked to perfection with savory sausage. Very rich white wine sauce that DIDNT break. Cook really knew what she/he was doing. I actually can’t wait to eat the leftovers.

A large 1 topping, 1 topping medium and a side of fries for $50.00!!? I certainly won’t be back ever again. Plenty of other pizza places around the area much cheaper and tastes just as good if not better. Let the screw other people out of money, it won’t be me ever again. I also don’t care where the ingredients come from. Because every place will claim its imported from Italy. This shop is a joke and their prices are completely INSANE!

King’s is my go-to when in Hedgesville. Everything is so good. Had the large Steak & Cheese Works with onion rings this trip. Tender beef, fresh veggies and nicely toasted roll. Onion rings had a crisp exterior. Portions are huge. Took half the sub and rings home. Server was fantastic.

They make the Absolute Best Chicken Florentine that I’ve EVER tasted. I’m moving back south and am Soooo going to miss it. The staff there are amazing. They are just wonderful people and very nice to be around.

Times must be rough for businesses. I was charged for using a credit card, when that hasn’t happened before at this place. Hope that’s a temporary charge. Having a credit card machine is part of doing business and not the customer’s responsibility. Just raise prices across the menu. Customers won’t notice that, but a 4% charge for using their credit card is following suit with how airlines nickel and dime their customers.

Large epic portions! Not many places like this in Columbus, Ohio I don’t recall this place when I lived here as a kid! If your a out of towner and looking for something you won’t find in many other cities this is the place for you! Lots of options to choose from and prices are pretty good to boot!
