This is truly a GEM in downtown Macon. 31 years in business you can’t go wrong. Awesome food even better service and atmosphere.

This was our first time eating at Tokyo Alley in Macon Ga and it might be our last. Let’s start with the positive things, the place was clean and the service was great. Our servers made sure our glass was never empty which means a lot and the food portion was hefty. Now, here comes the part that everyone is waiting for, the Cons! The free soup they give everyone tasted like pure soy sauce, no flavor, no enjoyment at all. My daughter’s cold pasta tasted like it was left outside for a few days before they decided to put it on her plate. She did like her chicken strips. My wife’s vegetables tasted like it came out of the can after it expired. She did like her fried shrimp. I ordered a Pad thai which tasted like they made it from the microwave. The noodle was dry and the chicken had no flavor. It had no peanut or peanut flavor which makes a Pad Thai.

We got 4 things the cheese rolls an orange chicken teriaki chicken and teriaki steak, well the noodles are COLD not hot like i thought they woukd be, and taste like pepper and mayo. The white rice was great, the steak was good, and the teriaki chicken was good.. now the orange chicken looks like tenders with the sauce on the side the sauce is NASTY!!!! I dont recomend the orange chicken at all unless for a child.

This place never disappoints me. One of Macon’s best restaurants. I always get the teriyaki chicken that comes with steamed rice and the best cold noodles. The cheese rolls are delicious as well.

Had lemon chicken with pasta salad and white rice. Very good! And flavorful. Large portions. Cheese roll was essentially a crab Rangoon eggroll which was fantastic. And the spring roll or what I’d call an eggroll was alright. I ordered it, expecting a rice paper raw with veggies spring roll, but it was good.

Food was super good. I loved the gyoza appetizer, I’ve never had it with ground beef or seen it deep fried. The chicken was amazing and the cold noodle salad very refreshing. A nice lunch place and I imagine their good for dinner too.

This place has the best fried chicken that you’ll ever have. That being said, it’s almost exclusively a fried chicken restaurant. If you’re looking for something with a bit of a larger selection, I wouldn’t recommend this place. But if you’re looking for fried chicken, you really will not find a better place in the south.

Food was majorly lacking in flavor. The spring roll was dripping grease to the point of being soggy. The noodles come in some milky sauce. Over all I had high hopes because everyone recommended the place and it was a flop. The atmosphere is nice but the place is so small you can’t hear any conversation at your table. Go to ninja across the alley.

The food was not fresh, I could tell that the vegetables had been sitting for hours. The $8 edemame was freezer burned. This was not during a lunch rush, only 3 other people were in the restaurant and the food was still sloppily thrown together. I would not recommend this place if you want an authentic Japanese or hibachi style meal.
