What a disappointment. Disney isn’t known for being cheap but the food is generally good. This restaurant has terrible “Mexican food”. I would dare to say that Taco Bell is more authentic. The beans and rice are bland, the nacho chips are Tostitos and instantly become soggy in the nachos under the toppings before you can sit down and eat, the enchiladas are the dried out heat lamp style with a spicy yet flavorless red sauce, and the beef in the tacos, nachos, and burritos has a strange tangy flavor that’s off-putting. I know it’s theme park food but if you take a stroll across the esplanade to California Adventure, anything you order from the Wharf area is better than everything at Rancho Del Zocalo.

If you are craving Mexican food while at Disneyland, Rancho del Zocalo is a good option. The portions are a good size, multiple food options to choose from, and they offer a great cold brew horchata. Plenty of sitting which is located outside The staff was great, friendly and very attentive.

Five-star evaluation is for their service! We found this restaurant when we were tired and hungry, and the queue time was not long, because they had staff to arrange tourists to order at different windows. The price is reasonable, the staff caters quickly, and even if the payment and catering are not together, it will not affect their work efficiency. We soon got our own food. When I went to look for the dining table after paying, I actually knocked over two meals on the plate. I was very embarrassed and depressed at that time! But the staff immediately found me, took me to another two identical meals, and told me that they were free, which surprised me and made me feel better. The environment is clean. When I went to get free food, the food I spilled on the ground had been cleaned up. The amount of food is enough. I haven’t finished one of my meals. Visitors with a small appetite can consider sharing one with two people. Awesome restaurant! Thank you! Keep my vacation happy!

My husband and I really enjoy the chicken tostada here so we decided to go after I finished work for Tostada Tuesday. Their tostada salad is good sized and is totally shareable. There’s a cilantro-lime salad dressing that is added by the cast member – but I don’t really care for it – it’s kind of sweet and doesn’t go well with the salad, so I ask them to put it on the side or just leave it off. (*Somwtimes the cast member can get a bit heavy handed when adding the dressing – and it’s just too much!) You get a choice of either chicken or beef, then it also has Mexican rice, refried beans, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and cotija cheese and all of that is in a crispy flour tortilla shell, which I like to break off pieces and dip it in the beans and rice – YUM!!

The food was better before 2020, but this is still one of the better values in the park. Pretty decent Mexican food – tacos, burritos, enchiladas, salads. I usually get the chicken tostada salad which you can customize (I get it without cheese and sour cream). I’ve seen other people order the tostada salad w/o meat and double the beans so you could get it vegetarian. I agree with Carrie R. that the cilantro-lime dressing doesn’t go well, so I ask for it on the side.

We love to eat here, one of our favorite restaurants in Disneyland. The food is always very fresh and there’s hardly ever any weights. One thing happens today was we get charge for the drinks same price, Large or medium, and for the KIDS MEAL u need to ask for small cup if u like soda, ask the cashier for it.Place to relax your feet and there’s also a free station to refill your water bottles.

Food was decent but seems to have gone downhill since the last time. The refried beans tasted off, not fresh. The chili verde was the highlight of the meal along with the Agua Fresca. The ice cream dessert was not appealing.

Rancho Del Zocalo Restaurant in Frontierland section of Disneyland Park is a nice fast dining Mexican restaurant. While not that authentic, the food was still a good selection at a good price. I got the three street tacos which came with a side of rice and beans. The beans slapped and the rice was alright but it doesn’t compare to mi suegra’s cooking. The chicken and steak tacos were good but the cauliflower taco definitely was not it. I washed it down with some pretty decent horchata. My wife got the chicken burrito which also included a side of rice and beans which we thought strange because the burrito already include rice and beans inside of it. The red suace on top was really good but the overall dish left us wanting. She washed it down with some strawberry Aguas frescha which lifted her spirits immensely. After all that we had a the choco flan which wasn’t the best but also wasn’t the worst we’ve ever had.

I think it’s safe to say this is definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Disneyland. They have awesome pancakes for breakfast, burritos for lunch, and tacos for dinner. Love the sounds of thunder mountain railroad right next-door. The food is always very fresh and there’s hardly ever any weights. Great place to relax your feet and there’s also a free station to refill your water bottles.

My wife and I both had the trio tacos – I had only chicken and my wife had one of each (chicken, beef and cauliflower). Chips and Salsa and 2 drinks – $46. Baja Fish Tacos would have been a massive improvement and $20 cheaper. But, it’s Disneyland. What’s not excusable is that we are in SoCal….get a decent vendor for your Mexican food. Tacos had 10% chicken, and 90% tomatillo / onions. Rice was “mid”. Big winner was the $4.59 chips and salsa…well, and the coke. If I did it over, two orders of chips and salsa and a coke! lol. BUT, the service was quick at 11:50am.
