Snackbar is easily the best restaurant in Oxford. It is first-rate from start to finish. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable, and the bar staff make amazing cocktails (try the Lurleen!). The food is simply delicious, and it’s the only place I’ve found in town that really pushes the boundaries in terms of the dishes they prepare. My family and I truly love this establishment.

Food is pretty eclectic and unusual. Some of it is not to my taste exactly, but it’s inventive and interesting. Service is really good.

I don’t think the party we were with reviewed this restaurant before selecting it as the place we would dine that night. We were a traveling soccer team visiting for a tournament and this restaurant appeared like a “fancy” eatery more than a place for a bunch of sporting parents and kids.

Beautiful restaurant and amazing bar! We visited this location during happy hour and we loved it! The bartenders are really pofessional and incredible at their jobs! They can prepare many specialty cocktails and listen to special requests for drinks. If you ask, they can also provide many great recommendations! It’s an upscale location, but happy hour prices are unbeatable! Highly recommend!

The menu says “Damn Fine Burger”. I’m not sure how it’s done, but it is absolutely magical. My husband said it was the best burger he’s ever eaten. We’re not young, we’ve eaten a lot of burgers in our lifetime. We know what we’re talking about.

Ordered steak medium well. It got served as nearly rare. Salad was difficult to eat because peices were so large. French onion soup was good.

Nice night but hospitality awful. Hostess not helpful and blatantly rude. Made reservations the day before on Open Table. They put us at a table in the doorway and I requested to be moved. Said we would have another table in 20 mins. Never addressed us. I went to the hostess stand 3 times. Nothing. Horrible table beside door was cold and noisy. They need to eliminate that table altogether Waitress unfriendly when we ordered a

When we arrived the hostess stated no tables were open but they had a nice common bar area with plenty of seats. She was just the first of several very friendly and helpful staff. The food matched the service in great quality.

Pathetic. Ordered dozen oysters on the half shell, only 45 minutes after they opened. Was told all they had were some large oysters from New Orleans. Fine. Except when they came out, they told me they were out of the ones they told me, and brought me these pathetic looking Florida oysters – you would need 3-4 of these to equal the size of one decent Wellfleet or similar. So 12 oysters were the equivalent of 3-4 anyplace else. Did that affect the price? Nope. $27 for that pathetic display. Won’t waste my money there again.
